Dear Sir,
Kindly find enclosed the details of the 500 KV Disel Generator and its associated machineries in the
prescribed format for your kind perusal and further actions.
Attached with this letter are the requisite certificates and brief details of the equipment.
In the 440V AC side, power supply is taken through DG to PCR Panel having Short Circuit, NGR, ELR,
you may kindly refer the SLD for sequential power flowline. The AC Drive is installed with Earth Fault,
Overload, short circuit protections for motor feeders.
May kindly accord your approval for bringing the equipment into regular use please.

Declaration of the work carried out departmentally under the competent

supervisor.
The AC Drive of DG, Motor and Control Panel erection and commissioning work has been carried out after
checking and ensuring that there is no physical defects, damage etc and the IR values of the panel, motor and
Cable are good. Total two earth pits are available, and all earthing connections are made through double earth
1CX50 Sqmm multi stand copper cable Green connected with the earth pits. The earth pit resistance of earth pits is
measured and found below one (01) ohm. All the physical and electrical arrangement is checked for proper
placement and safety.
Breakers in the MCC Panel is checked for proper operation and tripping are checked during the simulation test.
Adequate arrangement of firefighting equipment is made at Electrical Installation. Proper shock proof rubber mat
is laid in front of DG & PCR Electrical Panels and display of Shock treatment charts is made at Control Panel and
IM bunk house.
All these proposed installation work has been carried out under direct supervision of a competent and duly
authorized electrical supervisor having License. (Supervisor Mr. Raval Mukeshkumar Ratilal, Licence No
G/AHD/ME/23/01/2023)

(Pre commissioning test report)
The AC Drive, DG, Panel, erection / commission etc are carried out after fixing them properly. At AC Drive
panels, all the power & control wiring were checked for loose connection and circuit connection, and they are
found to be in order.
The makers test report of AC Drive is attached.

There is no physical defects, damage etc and the IR values of the Drive panel board & AC Motor and cable are
good. The Drive panel is meggared with 500 V LT Meggar and values were >100 M Ohm in Phase to Phase and
>100 M Ohm Phase to earth.
The drive is tested on No Load and Full Load and cycle is recorded which is found to be satisfactory. The drive is
checked for over speed tripping and was found tripping, and other functional tests are carried out successfully.
Earthing connections are made through double 1C X 50 sqmm multi stand copper cable green connection with the
earth pits. The earth pit resistance of newly constructed earth pits are measured and found below one ohm. All the
physical and electrical arrangements are checked for proper placement and safety.
Proper Arrangement of Illumination has been done Shock proof IS standard Rubber mats are placed in front of all
electrical switchgears. Proper electrical fire fighting arrangement is done and electrical shock treatment charts are
made available in PCC Panel and IM bunk house.
The installation is energized for checking and checked for proper working. It is O.K
