ABBREVIATIONS (US):
CH – chain
SC – single crochet
INC – increase (make 2 sc into one loop)
DEC– decrease (two sc together through front loops)
SL ST – slip stitch

THE REQUIRED MATERIALS:


Worsted weight yarn, I used Himalaya Dolphin Baby (100%: polyester)
 1 skein - Himalaya Dolphin Baby (80312) in coral color for a heart;
 A little bit - Himalaya Dolphin Baby (80357) bright gray for arms, legs;
 A little bit - Alize Softy No. 55 (white) – Optionally!
(In case, you use white yarn for the arms instead of gray yarn)
 A little bit - YarnARt jeans No.53 (black) – for embroidering eyes and a
mouth;
 3.5 mm crochet hook;
 Stuffing material, fiberfill;
 Tapestry needle;
 Scissors;
 Embroidery needle;
 Stitch marker (you may use a yarn strand of contrast color)
 Pins

NOTE! Yarn consumption, size, and appearance of the toy depend on
crochet density and how you hold the yarn.
The presented toy is crocheted with V look single crochet.

The finished toy using the materials stated in this pattern is ~9.4 inches / 24
cm in height with legs.

Make sure you crochet tight enough; otherwise, the stuffing will show
through the holes.
Crochet the toy in continuous spirals without a turning chain.

ARMS (make 2)
With Himalaya Dolphin Baby (80312) in coral color
Chain 2.

Rnd 1: 6 sc in the second chain from hook.

Rnd 3: (1 sc, inc)*6 (18)
Rnds 4-5: 18 sc (2 rows)
Rnd 6: (1 sc, dec)*6 (12)
Rnd 7: (4 sc, dec)*2 (10)

Attach white Alize Softy yarn.


In case, you use white yarn for the arms instead of gray. Attach white plush yarn
and crochet as follows the pattern from row 10 (skip rows 8-9).
* Work the next 2 rows through front loops only.
Rnds 8-9: 10 sc (2 rows)

Attach gray color Dolphin Baby (80357) yarn


* Work the next row through back loops only.
Rnd 10: 10 sc
* Crochet the next rows through both loops.
Rnd 11: (3 sc, dec)*2 (8)

Stuff the palm with fiberfill, and leave the remaining part of the arm empty.
Rnds 12-19: 8 sc (8 rows)

Fold in half and crochet 4 sc through both loops.
Pull the hole with the help of the needle. Hide the yarn tail inside.

LEGS (make 2)
Chain 2.
Rnd 1: 6 sc in the second chain from hook
Rnd 2: 6 inc (12)
Rnd 3: (1 sc, inc)*6 (18)
Rnd 4: (2 sc, inc)*6 (24)
Rnds 5 - 7: 24 sc (3 rows)
Rnd 8: 6 sc, 6 dec, 6 sc (18)
Rnd 9: 18 sc
Rnd 10: 6 sc, 3 dec, 6 sc (15)
Rnds 11 – 12: 15 sc (2 rows)

Stuff the foot with fiberfill, and leave the remaining part of the leg empty.
Embroider the shoelaces in cross-stitch with white yarn. Use yarn Alize Softy.
(I used yarn Himalaya Dolphin Fine).

Attach gray color yarn.
* Crochet the next row through back loops only.
Rnd 13: 15 sc.
* Crochet the next rows through both loops.
Rnd 14: (3 sc, dec)*3 (12)
Rnds 15-23: 12 sc (9 rows)
Fold in half and crochet 5 sc through both loops across. Pull the hole with the
help of the needle. Hide the yarn tail.

HEART
Chain 2.
Rnd 1: 6 sc in the second chain from hook
Rnd 2: 6 inc = (12)
Rnd 3: (1 sc, inc)*6 = (18)
Rnd 4: (2 sc, inc)*6 = (24)

Rnd 5: (3 sc, inc)*6 = (30)
Rnd 6: (4 sc, inc)*6 = (36)
Rnd 7: (5 sc, inc)*6 = (42)
Rnds 8-11: 42 sc (4 rows), 1 sl st

Break yarn. Crochet the second part similarly. Do not break yarn and continue
crocheting.

Rnd 12: 21 sc.


* I recommend putting a marker in the first stitch of joining.
Attach the second part of the heart in sl st! Crochet 42 sc.
Crochet the 43rd sc in the same stitch where we crocheted the 1st stitch
(where we marked with a marker).
Crochet the 44th sc in the 21st sc of the first half of the heart.
Continue crocheting 21 sc (86)

Rnd 16: 1 sc, (dec, 12 sc)*6, 1 sc (80)
Rnd 17: 1 sc, (dec, 11 sc)*5, 1 dec, 10 sc (72)

(There are 2 sc to the end of the row left. We do not crochet them)
The arms are symmetrically on the sides. It is possible that in your case, you
need to crochet the last 2 sc in row 17.

* Begin to attach the arms.

Stuff the toy with fiberfill.

Embroider the eyes:
Mark the position of the eyes and mouth and embroider.
Embroider the eyes, as guided in the photo below. It is more comfortable to
embroider the eyelashes with a thinner needle.
Embroider the mouth. Once you finished embroidering, you need to dray the
needle to the bottom and tie three knots. Cut off the thread if the tails are too
long.

Break yarn, leaving 15 cm tail. Pull the hole with the help of the needle.
Pick up 6 stitches through both loops as you close the hole by pulling the
yarn. Insert the needle to the center of the hole and draw it to any side. Break
yarn.

FLOWER

CH – chain
HDC – half double crochet
DC – double crochet
SL ST – slip stitch

Rnd 1: 6 sc int MR, form a circle - 1 sl st.

Crochet in each stitch beginning in the stitch where we made sl st.


(Chain 3, 1 HDC, 1 DC, chain 3, sl st)*6
The first petal is ready.
Continue crocheting the other five petals.

Break yarn, leaving a long tail for sewing. Sew the bead.

LEAF
Chain 12.
Begin to crochet in the 2nd chain from the hook on the opposite side of the chain
foundation:
1 sc, 3 HDC, 3 DC, 3 HDC, 1 sc, 1 ch, 1 sc (crochet in the same stitch where
we worked the previous sc).
Continue crocheting on the other side of the chain foundation -
3 HDC, 3 DC, 3 HDC, 1 sc, 1 sl st.

Break yarn, leaving a long tail for sewing.

HEADBAND

Chain 74.
(The length of the chain depends on the circumference of the heart).
Crochet 73 DC on the opposite side of the chain foundation.
Break yarn. Join both sides of the band with the help of the needle.
