Multi-Line phones:
A multi-line phone system is designed for businesses and organizations that need to
support multiple phone calls at the same time . Unlike a single line phone which can
only support one call at a time, a multi-line phone system can handle multiple calls
simultaneously.
How’s it used :
A multi-line phone system lets you handle two or more calls simultaneously. It enables
employees to place calls on hold, dial internal or external numbers, and return to the
line. Multi-line phones differ from phones
with a single line that can only maintain one phone call at a time.
Pc/Desktop
A personal computer (PC) is a microcomputer designed for use by one person at a time. Prior to
the PC, computers were designed for affordable companies that attached terminals for multiple
users to a single large mainframe computer whose resources were shared among all users.
How’s it used :
It’s used to create \ keep information, or data. It has the ability to store, retrieve, and process
data. You may already know that you can use a computer to type documents, send email, play
games, and browse the Web.
Laptop:
A laptop is a personal computer that can be easily moved and used in a variety of locations.
Most laptops are designed to have all of the functionality of a desktop computer, which means
they can generally run the same software and open the same types of files.
How’s it used :
laptops are used in a variety of settings, such as at work (especially on business trips), in
education, for playing games, web browsing, for personal multimedia, and for general home
computer use.
My experience using a Laptop in G.O.A was indeed a very fun and learning experience. I
have gained a lot of knowledge about computers simply by powering off a computer
properly, removing a flash drive properly from a laptop. We was first tested on turning on
the laptop by the power button and typing in the password we was then told by our
Accessor to turn on Microsoft Word and she wrote stuff on the board she wanted to test
us on such as underlining a letter, alignment of sentences right to left, using italic
font, changing colour of a letter, changing front style and many more after we completed
our practical we was told to save it to the flash drive and she examined how we put it in
and saved it and took it out properly with looking for Safely Remove hardware icon on
the taskbar. Then I safely pressed shut down and waited for the laptop to turn off before I
closed it down.
My experience using a Printer in G.O.A was a very fun and learning experience firstly you can
plug the USB cable in ur USB port the direct linking should connect to your laptop and
recognize the printer and start up the software needed or you can go to settings bluetooth
according to your printer next add a printer or scanner select add device wait for it to find nearby
printers then locate the one you want to use and select device. Then you look for what you want
to print in the flash drive connected to the laptop select it and select how many copies you
would like when it's printed you can remove it from the printer and to disconnect the printer
under printers and scanners find the printer and select it and then select remove device
PRINTER
A printer is a device that accepts text and graphic output from a computer and transfers the
information to paper, usually to standard-size, 8.5" by 11" sheets of paper.

speed, sophistication and cost.
COPIER
A copier is a machine that makes exact copies of something, especially documents, video or
audio recordings, or software.
Hows it used:
In a photocopier, the light-induced conductivity of the drum is exploited to create a latent image
in the form of electrical charges on the surface of the drum. This image is made visible and
transferred to paper using a special, charged toner.
Scanner
A scanner is a device that captures images from photographic prints, posters, magazine pages
and similar sources for computer editing and display. Scanners work by converting the image on
the document into digital information that can be stored on a computer through optical character
recognition.
How’s it used;
Scanners work by shining light at an image, document, or object. In simple terms, the reflected
light is then directed onto photosensitive technology via mirrors and lenses, then converted into
electronic data that is used to form a digital copy of the original.
Shredder
A paper shredder is a mechanical device used to cut sheets of paper into either strips or fine
Use of shredder:
Shredding paper reduces the volume of paper waste. Shredded paper tends to take up less
volume in your paper recycle container than un-shredded documents. Shredded paper can also
Is machine processing and manufacturing a material in multiple layers, so that the composite
material achieves improved strength, stability, sound insulation, appearance, or other properties
How’s it used:
Laminator machines apply a thin plastic cover to paper documents by using pressure, heat, and
their internal roller mechanism. In the most common scenario, the paperwork is fed into the
machine one page at a time, sandwiched between loose plastic sheets or in lamination
pouches.
Spiral comb Binder
How’s it used:
Place the plastic binding comb in the binding machine. Open the comb and
place the opened comb fingers through the punched holes of the document
to be bound. Close the comb and remove the document from the machine.
You are now done comb binding a document and are ready to move to the
next document to be bound.
FAX MACHINE
HOWS IT USED:
fax machines are designed to scan printed textual and graphic material and
machines, where facsimiles are reproduced close to the form of the original
documents. Fax machines, because of their low cost and their reliability.
