BLOOD
Vena Cava Deoxygenated blood It carries blood from the lower body back
to the heart
Aorta Oxygenated blood Is to supply blood to almost all the major
organs in the body
Pulmonary Artery Deoxygenated blood It carries blood to the lungs, where
carbon dioxide is released and oxygen is
picked up during respiration
Pulmonary Vein Oxygenated blood They carry blood from the lungs to the
left atrium of the heart
