SET UP FISH Deal 7 place value go fish cards to each player. Put
the remaining cards in a pile face down in the
middle.

HOW TO PLAY

Step 1: Each player will look at


the cards in their hand. If there
are two cards that match in their
hand, the player will lay the
match down.

Instructions for the teacher
Divide the class into teams of 2 or 3 People. Give each group a
marker and a whiteboard or pieces of paper to draw on. Ask
them to keep track of their points as they play.

Instructions for the Players


In turn, one person from each group rolls a dice. If they get a:
1 = red word
2 = blue word
3 = green word
4 = orange word
5 = everybody plays, and rolls the dice again to pick a colour
6 = everybody plays, and rolls the dice again to pick a colour

Then, the person draws a card from the pile of cards and looks
at the colour word according to the number he/she got.

The teacher sets a timer for 1
minute, during which the
designated student (or students,
if everybody plays) draws the
concept word. If his/her team
guesses the word correctly they
are awarded a point.
