You will be coming into our centre at Kingsland, Houghton Regis
for your exam when you course is completed. If you have
concerns about this, then please write it in the box below.

Online Safety

Task 3: Initial assessments
Complete the diagnostic assessment on the BKSB platform.
You have already completed your initial assessment on BKSB as part of
the enrolment process. This helped us allocate you to the best course for
you. As a reminder this is the link:

Open via Chrome or Microsoft Edge and login with your email address and password as you did
previously. If you don’t remember your password your tutor can reset this.

Please read through the attached information about how to access the platform and complete the
diagnostic assessments over the next two weeks.

These will help your tutor set the correct level for your Functional Skills course and provide a
bespoke learning plan via the platform to help with your learning.

The assessment helps us to understand the way you learn and


any additional learning support you may need through the
course and any potential exam access arrangements.

Please advise your tutor if you had support in previous learning or at school.

Financial support with barriers to learning.
In cases of hardship, we might be able to help with costs, for example travel and childcare, if they
are a barrier to you participating in learning.

During sessions
Sometimes during sessions, we might screen capture group work or make a short recording. This is
so we have what we need to evidence learning as you work towards your learning aims and
objectives. The material is not used in any way other than to evidence learning.
