Task 3: Initial assessments
Complete the diagnostic assessment on the BKSB platform.
You have already completed your initial assessment on BKSB as part of
the enrolment process. This helped us allocate you to the best course for
you. As a reminder this is the link:
https://centralbedfordshire.bksblive2.co.uk/
Open via Chrome or Microsoft Edge and login with your email address and password as you did
previously. If you don’t remember your password your tutor can reset this.
Please read through the attached information about how to access the platform and complete the
diagnostic assessments over the next two weeks.
These will help your tutor set the correct level for your Functional Skills course and provide a
bespoke learning plan via the platform to help with your learning.
How did you find these assessments? Explain in the box below.
Please advise your tutor if you had support in previous learning or at school.
If you have had any issues connecting with the Cognassist please let us know:

are a barrier to you participating in learning.
During sessions
Sometimes during sessions, we might screen capture group work or make a short recording. This is
so we have what we need to evidence learning as you work towards your learning aims and
objectives. The material is not used in any way other than to evidence learning.
Equal Opportunities

seek to remove any barriers to learning that may exist, through:
Learner feedback
After workshops and courses, we will ask you to complete an online learner satisfaction survey so
you can feedback about what worked well, what could be improved and to let us know about your
key learning achievements. Your feedback is important to us and helps us to develop and improve
our provision.
You can, of course, feedback to your tutor at any point during sessions or email
