The aim of this project is to design and develop an automated garbage collector
and floor cleaning machine using microcontroller-based systems. The proposed
system consists of two primary subsystems: a garbage collector and a floor
cleaning machine. The garbage collector subsystem includes a 12V motor, a
CPU fan, and a microcontroller-based control unit. The floor cleaning machine
subsystem comprises a DC motor with a brush, a water motor, and a
microcontroller-based control unit that includes an Arduino Uno, a motor driver
shield, and an HC-05 Bluetooth module. The garbage collector subsystem is
designed to collect garbage automatically, which reduces the workload of
cleaning staff and improves the cleanliness of public places. The system is
equipped with a 12V motor that rotates a CPU fan, creating a suction force that
collects the garbage into a dustbin. The control unit, based on the Arduino Uno,
controls the motor's speed and direction and monitors the garbage level in the
dustbin. When the dustbin is full, the system sends a notification to the user via
Bluetooth. The floor cleaning machine subsystem is designed to clean the floor
automatically. It is equipped with a DC motor with a brush and a water motor
that sprays water on the floor. The system is also equipped with a
microcontroller-based control unit that controls the motors' speed and direction
and monitors the water level in the tank. The user can control the system
through a smartphone app via Bluetooth.
