    Bisous Scrunchie

    Pattern
    Sizes: small (medium)
    Finished circumference: 13 (15) cm
    Gauge: 20 stitches * 24 rows, stockinette stitch, needles 4.5 mm
    Needles: 2 pairs of circular needle 4.5 mm
    1 pair of circular needle 5 mm (only use to cast on)
    1 needle (strength or double pointed) 4.5mm
    Needles size is only a suggestion! If you have too many stitches on 10cm
    switch to larger needles. If you have too few stitches on 10cm switch to
    smaller needles.
    Materials: 14 g of Phil mohair soir lurex (25g = 200m, 70% mohair, 26% silk & 4%
    polyester) or any other equivalent yarn
    Stitch marker
    Cable length short

    Overview
    This scrunchie is knitted in the round in stockinette stitch. Once you achieve the desired length, fold the
    scrunchie in two and place an elastic hair tie before doing a three needles bind off.

    Abbreviations
    CO: Cast on
    st: Stitch
    SM: Stitch marker

    Explanations
    Scrunchie
    Cast on 80 sts on the 5 mm / 40 cm circular needles, with long tail cast on method.
    Place a stitch marker to indicate the beginning of the round. Join to knit in the round, making sure that
    the cast on edge is not twisted.
    Change to 4.5mm needles.
    Knit in the round in stockinette stitch until you work measure 8(11) cm from CO sts.
    Cut your yarn (let 10cm to bind off the stitches). Keep your sts on your needles.

    With another pair of 4.5mm circular needles, Flip your scrunchie


    pick up 80 sts along the CO edge. Start by (WS is now outside).
    the st align with your SM.

    Place an elastic hair tie in the middle. Place your two sts series side by side.

    With a third needle, made a three needles bind off


    to close your scrunchie.
