    Team Leader / Software Engineer IT/Management

    As an SME with growing demand, we are seeking a Team Leader to manage day-to-day operations and lead our project development and maintenance. This role would suit a bright minded individual with proven track record in software engineering with the motivation to take the company to the next level. The position is located in Tunis.

    MSc in Computer Science or similar degree. 3-5 years experience in software engineering and project management. Expertise in the principles and methodologies required of quality software engineering. Accomplished Java, PHP and Object Oriented programmer. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, able to coach team and transfer knowledge. Organized, efficient and effective planner. Fluent in English. Advanced use of Linux command line operations. Sound understanding of Virtualization and servers management. Proficient user of development tools such as Eclipse, SVN and Maven. Administration level of SVN, Maven and Bug Tracker (Mantis). Advanced understanding and programming unit tests (log4j, regression tests ). Highly skilled in: PHP/JavaScript/Google Web Toolkit and Object Oriented programming. Multi-threaded Applications. Relational Database Design mySQL (Apache Cassandra preferred). Web Programming (PHP, Jquery, CSS and latest web development technologies).

    Project management and team leading. Management of the project development, acceptance and testing requiring resource allocation,
    scheduling and team development.

    Conduct functional, usability and regression tests to ensure the overall quality of the software
    product. Monitor maintenance contracts to meet internal requirements and customer expectations. Ensure project delivery to fixed deadlines, prioritize and investigate incoming maintenance issues. Align cross-functional issues (between Maintenance, R&D) and coordinate resolutions. Quality Assurance: define and monitor internal performance metrics.
