1. General Information
1.01 This document describes the software status for 7191 Craft Station®
Feature Package (FP) 15.1. The software status of this feature package is tracked
using the modification request (MR) process.
1.02 The Craft Station is designed to be installed on a laptop computer for direct
connection to supported Network Elements (NEs).
1.03 The Craft Station is used for routine maintenance and provisioning of
individual NEs. It provides a user-friendly graphical interface in place of SNMP or
TL1/CLI line interface commands.
1.04 The following information is included in this document:
• supported features in this release
• supported platforms
1.05 The 7090 Packet Transport Platform documentation set screen captures
may not always reflect current Feature Package features and will be updated in a
future release.
1.06 The online help reflects the latest NE feature package. If the Craft Station
is used with an NE feature package prior to the latest release, there may be
inconsistencies between the user documentation and the online help, and some
context sensitive help may not work correctly. For specific information about
performing system administration and provisioning activities on an NE supporting
a previously released FP, refer to the Craft Station User’s Guide released with that
FP. Online and context sensitive help is not available for the 7090-05 CE Packet
Transport Platform.
1.07 Refer to the applicable network element (NE) Software Release Document
for a complete list of features, open anomalies, and corrected anomalies that apply
to the NE.
1.08 Refer to the Portal for the latest 7191 Craft Station Software Release
Document (http://portal.coriant.com).
Reason for Issue 1.09 Coriant issues this manual at Revision A to include the changes in Table 1,
