THE VENDORS
According to the Municipality of Bulawayo, there are different types of vendors in
Zimbabwe. There are vendors who sell vegetables and fruits, those who sell
electrical gadgets and those who sell clothes.

The vendors who sell goods on the streets have formed unions to represent them
when they have problems. For these unions, they pay just $1 a day and when
they are in trouble, they come together and get representation. Some of these
vendors sell their goods at undesignated areas. The municipal security carry out a
blitz on these people and some of them run for their lives and leave behind their
goods . Pedestrians do not dare pick the goods because some of the vendors who

THE GOLDEN CLOTH AND THE KNOBKERRIE

While walking up the sacred hill, Peter saw a golden cloth that was on the side of
the pathway. As Peter stepped backwards in fear, he instantly noticed a
knobkerrie that was lying across to the golden cloth. He could not believe his
eyes.
His heart bounced many times before he could even have a clear picture of what

repeated twice before the sound died out.

Peter collapsed and gained consciousness after about ten minutes. What he

Our bodies have a lot of water in them. This water is useful and vital as it keeps

water in our bodies is called dehydration. Dehydration can lead to death.
The risk or danger of dehydration is greatest in the hot summer season. This is

 Always drink a lot of water as you play or work. The water you drink will
replace the water you lose through sweat.
 Eat a lot of fresh vegetables and fruits. Fruits like watermelons, mangoes
paw-paws, cucumbers have a lot of water in them
