After watching the Hamlet Stage Production directed by Directed by Paul
Radford of Bob Jones University, I think that the most emotional scene for me is the interaction between Hamlet and Ophelia where she was ordered by her father and the king to give back the token of love, he has given her. I was moved by this scene because Hamlet confesses the he loved Ophelia but also denied the he ever loved her. But it’s already obvious that they love each other but it’s just that Hamlet felt very betrayed of what they have done to his father that he can’t seem to trust anyone even Ophelia. It is sad to know that they weren’t able to clear their affections to each other because of Hamlet’s circumstance. Hamlet who is portrayed by David Schwingle in the production was an astounding actor. As for me, he acts very naturally and it seems flawless. He knows his lines very well and looks like a veteran in acting. The stage design also looks very pleasant, it really fit to the scene of the story. It is simple but look precise and perfect to the scenes. The costumes of the actors are also good. They are well created and designed to fit the role of the actors. From head to toe they are very organized and well prepared.
