Job Title: Senior Manager, Talent and Organizational Development, India

Department: Human Resources Level: L8 Reporting: Director, HR and Admin, India

Job Role: The Senior Manager, Talent and Organizational Development - India position leads
GIA India Pvt. Laboratory’s India Center of Excellence with focus areas that include
talent management, succession planning, employee engagement, leadership
development, change management, culture, and continuous learning to include
inclusion and diversity. Additionally the role holder is expected to consult and
collaborate with leaders, HR business partners, and employees across the
organisation to develop, implement, sustain, and improve enterprise programmes
that meet the organization's current and future needs.

 Is accountable for strategizing, creating, designing, and managing GIA


India’s Talent Development, Learning, Leadership Capability Building, and
Essential Duties: Organizational Development organization interventions, programs, and
frameworks.
 Works closely with Top Leaders, Director HR and Admin, India, Global
CoE, HRBPs, and other key stakeholders to shape and co-create offerings
that help the organization to achieve its overall strategic objectives and
business needs.
 Develops holistic solutions by utilising a variety of processes, techniques,
and tools, such as diagnosis, assessments, learning journey design,
coaching, and other strategic talent investments.
 Takes a proactive role in change communication, and culture development
 Responsible for consultant and vendor selection, management and contract
administration associated with the support of the L&OD team goals.
 Utilizes metrics that will identify key business effectiveness, results and
return-on-investment (ROI) of organizational development initiatives.
 Collaborates with leaders of organizational change efforts to align and
leverage all change initiatives throughout the organization, using common
models and processes.
 Leads a team of direct and indirect resources to accomplish goals.
 Exceptional interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills, including
the ability to relate to and influence staff at all levels.
 Encourages, motivates, negotiates effectively, and maintains highly effective
relationships externally and internally. Strong writing skills, including the
ability to synthesize information into clear, concise messages both for
detailed analytical reports and executive summaries.
 Solid sense of confidentiality and discretion.
 Ability to work independently, work with a remote team, think creatively,
manage own time, and take initiative to drive projects; manage client
Technical relationships.
Competencies  Experience working in a global environment and ability to travel within India
(Knowledge, Skills & and Internationally as required

Qualification:  Master’s Degree in Business, Psychology, Organization


Development/Leadership, HR or related field.
 Relevant certifications and qualifications in Instructional Design, OD,
Assessment and Development Centers, Appreciative Inquiry, Competency
Frameworks, Coaching, Facilitation, DiSC Assessment, Human Interaction
Labs, etc. will be an added advantage
 8 - 10 years’ related experience in a learning and organizational
development environment.
 Experience designing enterprise-wide talent development programs
 Experience working in mid to large, complex organizations with well-
developed skills in Change Management, Organizational Development
consulting, Facilitation, Coaching, Learning Strategies, and Process
Improvement.
 Experience measuring the impact of talent management interventions and
initiatives.
