Seven Points of Mind Training

6. Ethics of mind training Vows
PRAJNA Practice the 3 basic principles. Scandal
Sword cutting arrogance
One-sidedness

Change your attitude but remain natural.

Don't proclaim about injured limbs.

Don't ponder others weak points.

Work through the greater kleshas first.

Give up any possibilities of fruition.

Refrain from poisonous food.

Don't be predictable and guiltless.

Don't disparage people.

Don't wait in ambush.

Don't bring things to a painful point.

Don't transfer the yak's load to the cow.

Don't sharpen your competitiveness.

Don't act with a twist.

Don't bring gods down into demons.

Don't seek others' pain as limbs of one's own


happiness.
7. Guidelines of mind All yogas should be done with one intention.

Correct all wrongs with one intention.

Two activities: one at the beginning, one at the end.

Whichever of the two occurs, be patient. (happiness, pain)

Protect these two, even at the risk of your life. (relative /absolute bodhicitta)

Train in the three difficulties. (recognize, anti-virus, uproot)

Take on the three principal causes. (lama, mind, food)

Pay heed that the three never wane. (faith, meditation, vows)

You should maintain the three inseparabilities. (body, speech, mind)

Train without bias in all areas.

It is crucial to extend this pervasively and meticulously to everyone.

Always meditate on whatever provokes resentment.

You should not be swayed by external circumstances.

At this crucial time, practice the main point. Patience


Inclination
Don't misinterpret. Enjoyment
Compassion
Don't vacillate.
Care
Train wholeheartedly. Joy
You should liberate yourself by examining and analyzing.

Don't make a fuss.

Don't be jealous.

Don't be temperamental.

Don't expect thanks.
