Technical Service Bulletin

Service
1. Reproduce the customer complaint to verify.
2. Inspect the vehicle’s suspension for worn or damaged components. If any issues are found, repair them before
proceeding.
3. Remove the intermediate steering shaft from the vehicle.
4. Inspect the intermediate steering shaft and ensure that both of the universal joints move freely.
5. If the intermediate steering shaft is stiff or binds during inspection, replace it.

Bulletin is informational only.

Labor Operations: Steering column lower remove + reinstall 4816 1900 50 TU

Inspect intermediate steering shaft 4816 0199 10 TU
