A RESOLUTION CONFIRMING THE APPOINMENT OF Ms. Stephanie A. Carandang

AS THE SANGGUNIANG KABATAAN SECRETARY OF BARANGAY Canicanian,
POLILLO QUEZON
Whereas, Section 7 of Republic Act 10742, otherwise known as the Sangguniang Kabataan
Reporm Act of 2015, RA 10742, the Sangguniang Kabataan Secretary shall be appointed by the
Sangguniang Kabataan Chairperson (SK Chairperson) with the concurrence of the majority of all
the SK members (SK Members) from among the members of KK.
Whereas, Ms. Stephanie A. Carandang possesses all the qualifications for a Sannguniang
Kabataan Secretary as provider under section 10 of Republic Act 10742.
NOW THEREFORE, be it resolve and it is hereby resolved to confirm the appointment of

Ms. Stephanie A. Carandang of Barangay Canicanian Polillo Quezon until the end of term of the
appointing authority unless sooner removed.
RESOLVED FURTHER, that copy of this resolution be given to Ms. Stephanie A. Carandang
for his file, copy furnish the DILG City/Municipal Local Government Operations Office and the
Local Youth Development Office of Polillo Quezon for their information and record.

THE SANGGUNIANG KABATAAN TREASURER OF BARANGAY Canicanian, POLILLO
QUEZON
Whereas, Section 7 of Republic Act 10742, otherwise known as the Sangguniang Kabataan
Reporm Act of 2015, RA 10742, the Sangguniang Kabataan Treasure shall be appointed by the
Sangguniang Kabataan Chairperson (SK Chairperson) with the concurrence of the majority of all

A RESOLUTION REQUESTING PERMIT FROM THE LANDBANK OF THE

PHILIPPINES (LBP) TO GRANT THE SANGGUNIANG KABATAAN COUNCIL OF
BRGY. CANICANIAN TO OPEN A CURRENT BANK ACCOUNT FOR THE
COUNCIL, AND GRANTING AUTHORITY TO ITS CHAIRPERSON, HON. ROMMEL
O. LERUM AND TREASURER, ROMNICK M. VILLEGAS AS OFFICIAL
SIGNATORIES IN BEHALF OF THE COUNCIL
WHEREAS, Republic Act 10742 or the SK Reform Act of 2015 states that 10% of the general
fund of the barangay shall be set aside for the SK. The Sangguniang Barangay shall appropriate
the SK funds in a lump sum, which shall be disbursed solely for youth development and
empowerment;
WHEREAS, further, Section 20 (b) of the Republic Act 10742 states that the SK shall have
financial independence in its operations, disbursements and encashment of the funds, income and
expenditures. As such the SK funds shall be deposited in the name of the SK of the concerned
barangays in a government owned bank situated in or nearest to its area of jurisdiction with the
SK Chairperson and SK Treasurer as the official signatories;
WHEREAS, item 3.2.2 of the DBM-DILG-NYC JMC No.1 Series of 2019 provides that for
efficiency and economy purposes, it is strongly encouraged for the SK to open and maintain a
depository account in the same bank and branch of the barangay;
WHEREAS, the Sangguniang Kabataan of Brgy. Canicanian requests the Landbank of the
Philippines –Infanta Branch to open a current account under the name of Brgy Canicanian Polillo
Quezon SK;
WHEREAS, the Sangguniang Kabataan of Brgy. Canicanian authorizes Hon. Rommel O. Lerum
and Romnick M.Villegas to be the official signatories in behalf of the council;
NOW THEREFORE, on motion of Hon. Rommel O. Lerum unanimously seconded;
BE IT RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved, that the SK Council request from the LBP a permit
to open an account; and, to grant Hon. Rommel O. Lerum and Romnick M. Villegas SK
Treasurer to negotiate ad sign documents in-behalf of the SK Council securing permit to open a
bank account;
RESOLVED FURTHER, to send a copy of this resolution to the Landbank of the Philippines
for their appropriate action;
