RESOLUTION 1073-16 Uniform and Insignia of Command and General Ranks
CONSIDERING :
On the other hand, when listening to the women who make up part
of the ranks of this Police and who do not perceive discrimination in the use of the
masculine in the names of the review hierarchies of the personnel of the Police of the
Province of Buenos Aires, It is necessary to reserve the right, on the part of female police
personnel, to choose whether or not to use such names that distinguish between
masculine and feminine;
That under the repealed Law No. 13,201 on Police Personnel, the
work, protocol and social uniforms, summer and winter respectively, among other
components of the uniforms, were authorized and approved through Resolution No. 335,
dated April 6, 2006. police uniforms;
Thus,
THE MINISTER OF SECURITY
FROM THE PROVINCE OF BUENOS AIRES
RESOLVES:
ARTICLE 1.- Approve, when so provided, the use of the so-called “Police Mourning” on
the insignia approved in this act, on the occasion that police personnel lose their lives in
an “Act of Service”, or due to special circumstances that cause it. merit, whose
illustration, specification and use appear in Annex I, which forms an integral part of this
act.
ARTICLE 2.- Except for the use of “Police Mourning”, when the police uniform worn
displays the Nelson Mourning within its components.
ARTICLE 3.- Approve the designs of the insignia and their use in the protocol, social and
service uniforms, for the review hierarchies of the personnel of the Command and
General Sub-echelons, according to the illustrations and specifications according to
Annex II which consists of nine (9) pages and forms an integral part of this act.
ARTICLE 4.- Approve the designs of the palms, laurels and security badge and their use
in the gala and social and service protocol uniforms, summer and winter respectively, for
the review hierarchies of the personnel of the Command and General Sub-echelons ,
according to the illustrations and specifications according to Annex III, which consists of
four (4) pages and forms an integral part of this act.
ARTICLE 5.- Approve the designs of the plate-format caps and their use in the gala and
social protocol uniforms, for the review hierarchies of the personnel of the Command and
General Sub-echelons, according to the illustrations and specifications according to
Annex IV which consists of three (3) pages and which form an integral part of this act.
ARTICLE 6.- Approve the designs of the kepis and their use in the service uniform, for
the review hierarchies of the Command and General Sub-echelons, according to the
illustrations and specifications according to Annex V, which consists of two (2 ) pages and
which forms an integral part of this act.
ARTICLE 7.- Approve the designs of the institutional emblems in arm format and their
use on the left sleeve, in the gala and social and service protocol uniforms, for the
magazine hierarchies of the Command and General Sub-echelons, according to the
illustrations and specifications in accordance with Annex VI, which consists of two (2)
pages and which forms an integral part of this act.
ARTICLE 8.- Establish that the use of uniforms, insignia and all other components that
make up the police uniform is exclusive to the personnel of the Police of the Province of
Buenos Aires, when they provide services, when police superiority so requires. available
or in accordance with the rules of ceremonial and police protocol.
ARTICLE 9.- It is an honor and privilege, the use of the uniform and its components and
whoever wears it must contribute to prestige and exalt it, in the full conviction that each
uniformed person is, in and of itself, the reflection of the image of the Police Institution. ,
in the eyes of the community.
ARTICLE 10.- All personnel of the Police of the Province of Buenos Aires have the
obligation to dress with the utmost correctness the different items of the uniforms and
their components, maintaining the composure and elegance that the privilege of wearing
them requires.
ARTICLE 11.- Establish, for female police personnel, the right to choose the use of the
masculine in the names of the magazine hierarchies.
ARTICLE 12.- Establish that as of sixty (60) days after the publication of this document,
the insignia of the magazine hierarchies, badges, head covers and headgear will be
mandatory for the personnel of the Command and General Sub-Echelons. institutional
emblems, whose designs are approved in the preceding articles.
ARTICLE 13.- Empower the General Superintendent of Police to dictate the necessary
explanatory and complementary provisions inherent to this regulation.
ARTICLE 14.- Partially modify Resolutions No. 335/06 and No. 2457/10.
