got this question at my real test): Many believe that literacy is more important in
present days, while others think that literacy is only essential in the past. I agree with
the former. First and Foremost, the ability to read and write is important because it
will help students enhance critical thinking. Some might argue that literacy is not
essential anymore since technology will replace the necessity of reading and writing.
Moreover, the ability to read and write is beneficial to our future job. For example,
