Exam Review Guide
The exam will be available in your WorldatWork Profile (on the WorldatWork website) under the
“Courses & Exam” section.
You will have 120 days from the end of the course to take the exam. You do not need to
schedule a time to take the exam, so feel free to take it at a time that works best for you.
There is not a live proctor for the exam, however, there are still some security checks you’ll
need to complete before the exam starts. Before you start, please make sure you have:
1. Clear off your desk of everything other than a blank sheet of paper (Up to 10 blank
sheets), a pen/pencil, your mouse and keyboard, and a basic calculator. The calculator
MUST be basic, so no scientific calculators will be allowed. Accounting and Finance for
the HR Professional (T2) and Quantitative Principles in Compensation Management
(C3E) courses will provide you with a formula sheet that can be used during the exam
but DO NOT make notes on the sheet.
2. Put your phone away: You cannot use it at any time during the exam, including using it
as a calculator.
3. Gotten your driver’s license or state issued ID ready: You will need to show the camera
your ID to ensure the right person is taking the exam.
4. Checked your internet connection and security settings: If possible, we recommend that
you use your ethernet cable to connect directly to your router to ensure the best
internet connection possible. If not, make sure you’re connected to Wi-Fi. Check your
device, especially a work computer, by using this website (systemcheck.rpexams.com)
to make sure the security settings used by IT, like a VPN or firewall, will not interfere
with the exam. If you do lose your internet connection during the exam, you’ll have one
hour to restart the exam from where you left off.
5. Ensured your camera and microphone work: You can test these using the same website
listed above. Also, ensure no one (coworkers, partners, kids, pets…) will be able to
interrupt you during the exam, so take the test in a quiet, private area.
6. Closed out of all other windows and tabs: Only one monitor can be used during the
exam.
Once you’ve completed all the steps and you’re ready to start, you’ll have two hours to
complete the exam. Remember, the longer the module, the more questions about that module
you can expect to see on the exam. All questions are randomized, so they will not be in module
order. All the questions are multiple choice, so review all the answers to make sure you are
selecting the BEST answer.
You can flag questions for review, so don’t get hung up on one question for too long. You can
always come back to them at the end. If you run into technical difficulties at any point during
the exam, you can contact a PSI representative through the test page.
Once you are done with the exam, you will immediately have access to your results. You need a
75% or better to pass the test. Although we don’t expect anyone to score less than 75%, you
can retake the test if you do not pass the first time. Please contact our Customer Experience
Team to request a retake.
