Chuft’s two‐player (or possibly more) variant for Apex

Theropod 2nd Edition

This variant is for people who prefer a more Build the Event deck as normal, with this exception:
"multiplayer solitaire" approach to the game rather take one of the bosses from the boss deck, unseen, and

Leave any unused boss(es) face down to the side in the


Setup: boss deck for now. (In a two player game the boss
"deck" will be one face down boss card, in a three
player game it will be two bosses, etc.)

Choose one boss and its Minions per player as usual to


be in the game.

Note there ends up being one boss TOTAL in the Event


deck, regardless of the number of players.
Build the Hunt deck as normal, except leave the bosses
out. Put their Minions in. Set the bosses aside face
down and shuffle them a bit to form a boss deck. There
will be one boss per player in the boss deck. ‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐

Remove the Eggs from the Evolve Deck and create a Play changes:
