This Gulf Type Examination Certificate is valid for three years incase: No changes to the manufacturing process, No change in
Raw Materials, No change in the components of the electrical equipment, No change in the standards applied. The Gulf Type
Examination Certificate shall be reviewed whenever necessary, in particular in case of a change to the manufacturing process, the
raw materials or the components of a product. Technical advances or new work could affect the conclusion of this Gulf Type
examination.

in the TCF:
Trade mark, model or reference of the equipment.
General Description and operation of the equipment.
Leaflet, use instructions, copy of the warnings.
Detailed Description with conceptual design and manufacturing drawings including: List of components, materials, sub-assemblies
and circuits, results of designing calculations and examinations carried out, Test reports or certificates from in house laboratory
belonging to the manufacturer, if any, solution adopted by the manufacturer to ensure conformity of the production with the product
specified in this certificate, address of place(s) of manufacturing and storage, description of the conformity assessment procedures
followed.
This certificate is issued under the following conditions:

2. The manufacture shall ensure that the manufacturing process assure compliance of the product with approved model subject
to this certificate.
3. The applicant shall inform the notified body of all modifications made to the approved model which must receive, when
necessary, additional approval leading to an addition to the original Gulf type examination certificate.
4. As technical advances or a new work could affect the conclusion of this Gulf type examination, the applicant shall regularly
keep himself informed of any modification made to tests carried out on the approved model by notified body.
5. Copies are available upon requests by the applicant.
6. The type examination certificate shall be withdrawn if the product fails to comply with the requirements set out in Articles 4, 6
and Annex 1 of the Gulf Technical Regulation for Low Voltage Electrical Equipment and Appliances (BD-142004-01)
7. The manufacture shall keep a copy of the Gulf-type examination certificate, its annexes and additions together with the
technical documentation at the disposal of the competent national authorities for 10 years after the product has been placed
on the market.
8. This Certificate is issued in application of the standards and procedures set by the GCC Standardization Organization (GSO)
and is subject to the applicable SGS General Conditions for Product Conformity Assessment Services which can be found at
http://www.sgs.com/en/Terms-and-Conditions.aspx
9. This Certificate does not evidence shipment nor releases Seller (Exporter) and Buyer (Importer) from their respective
obligations in relation to the delivery, quality and quantity of the consignment referred to herein, nor does it guarantee
performance of the contract of sale which applies to the consignment. Stipulations to the contrary are not binding on SGS.
WARNING: The national Authorities of the Member State in GSO may reject the consignment covered by this Certificate if
found non-conforming upon verification at the port of entry.
