Topic: Social Campaign Development: Social media campaign

development includes developing and carrying out a marketing strategy to achieve
corporate objectives. Setting goals, determining the target market, producing
interesting content, selecting the appropriate channels, and examining performance
indicators are all included in this.

The Group Assignment involves conducting social media campaign development for
Coca-Cola, known for soft drink beverages. It manufactures, sells, and markets soft
drinks including Coca-Cola, other non-alcoholic beverage concentrates and syrups.
Introduction of Coca-Cola

 On May 8, 1886, Dr. John Pemberton brought his perfected syrup to Jacobs'
Pharmacy in downtown Atlanta where the first glass of Coca-Cola was poured.

 The sample was pronounced "excellent" and placed on sale for five cents a glass as a
soda fountain drink.

 The first newspaper ad for Coca-Cola soon appeared in The Atlanta Journal, inviting
thirsty citizens to try "the new and popular soda fountain drink."
 He gradually sold portions of his business to various partners and, just before he died
in 1888, sold his remaining interest in Coca-Cola to Asa G. Candler. An Atlantan with
great business acumen, Mr. Candler bought additional rights and acquired complete
control.

 In 1899, two Chattanooga lawyers, Joseph Whitehead and Benjamin Thomas,

travelled to Atlanta to negotiate the rights to bottle Coca-Cola. Thomas and
Whitehead wanted to capitalize on the drink's popularity by bottling it to be consumed
outside the four walls of a soda fountain.

The Coca-Cola logo: a history from 1886 to Today:

The Coca-Cola Company and its flagship fizzy beverage possess one of the best-known
brand identities in the world, with its red and white colours and script font covering
signage and shop shelves almost everywhere. And what's especially remarkable about
the Coca-Cola logo is its staying power. Over 130 years of history, the Coca-Cola logo
hasn't changed much at all. It was originally very much a logo of its time – look at logos
from the period and you'll find some slight changes. Look at the Coca-Cola logo from
1887. It's as recognisable as the Coca-Cola logo of today.
