PLASTIC TEST TUBES

Globe Scientific offers an extensive line of plastic multi-use tubes. They are molded from either premium grade
polystyrene for clarity, or polypropylene for impact strength and stability to common acids, alkalis and solvents.
Polystyrene tubes can withstand an RCF of 1500 x g. Polypropylene tubes can withstand an RCF of 3000 x g, and are
autoclavable and freezable. Globe’s broad range of sizes are sure to fit most laboratory applications.

These colorful snap-on closures are an effective way to recap blood drawing tubes, glass test tubes and plastic culture tubes. They
are precision molded from low-density polyethylene (LDPE) and maintain a tight seal during centrifugation, agitation and refrigeration
procedures. They are available in bright translucent colors for sample identification purposes. The caps feature a single thumb tab for
easy removal and close nesting in tube racks.

Globe Scientific's dual position cap is produced from low density polyethylene
(LDPE) and is ribbed for easy handling. The cap is specially designed to provide
aerobic or anaerobic storage of culture samples. When snapped into the tube,

PIERCEABLE STOPPERS Dual position closures

These pierceable stoppers are great for recapping vacuum blood tubes and
test tubes. They are produced from flexible thermoplastic elastomer (TPE)
and ensure a firm, leak-resistant seal. The stoppers can be easily pierced as
often as needed with a syringe or for through-cap sampling via closed-tube
instrumentation systems. These latex-free stoppers will not interfere with most
common chemistry, coagulation and drug monitoring methodologies. They can
be stored at room temperature, in the refrigerator or freezer.

Globe's polyethylene (PE) universal caps are designed for easy-on and easy-off
use. Cap removal is simple and quick. Universal caps are ideal for recapping
most 12mm, 13mm and 16mm evacuated glass blood collection tubes.
Flexible closures protect from aerosols of highly infectious microorganisms.
They guard samples against cross-contamination and laboratory work areas
against infection and spillage. Precision molded from low-density polyethylene
and designed to fit firmly on the tube. Closures are very sturdy under most
rigorous procedures, including centrifugation. Available in 8 colors for easy
sample identification. Not suitable for autoclaving.

the tubes. This along with a polypropylene inner lip ensures a leakproof seal, even at changing temperatures. The cap features a long skirt and a super-fast thread
design that allows it to be removed or sealed with a single turn. The caps are available with or without a silicone o-ring.

HEAVY-DUTY WALL MOUNT DRYING/DRAINING RACK

This 72 place laboratory drying rack is perfect for draining and drying of all types of labware. The rack
comes with a mounting kit to hang on the wall. The back plate of the support is made from a single mold
of 4mm rigid high impact polystyrene (HIPS). The peg sockets have closed ends eliminating leakage and
consequent biohazards. The seamless drip channel collects waste which drains via the supplied drain tube.
The 72 (push in) pegs can accommodate items with a neck bore in excess of 15mm. They are easily
removable for cleaning or to accommodate odd shaped items. Also included are 11 small pegs to
accommodate small diameter items, such as test tubes. This durable rack will not rust or stain.
