Sample Quotation – Own Self
You may only receive the guaranteed amount upon death.
* If you cancel the certificate before the maturity period, the amount that you will receive will be much less than the total amount of
contribution that you have paid.
The illustrations of Non-Guaranteed benefits have been prepared on two hyphothetical investment scenarios.
a. Scenario X = Assume the Participant's Account earns 2% every year
b. Scenario Y = Assume the Participant's Account earns 5% every year
The two rates are used purely for illustrative purposes to show the variability of non-guaranteed benefits under the different
investment scenarios and are NOT GUARANTEED. They do not represent upper and lower limits on the investment performance of
the Participant's Account, and are not the returns earned on the actual contributions paid for the family takaful product.
The investment return rates earned i.e. performance of the family takaful fund in the previous five years are as follows:
Yr 2015/2016: 3.98% Yr 2016/2017: 5.04% Yr 2017/2018: 3.78% Yr 2018/2019: 4.53% Yr 2019/2020: 4.92%
The past investment performance of the fund is not an indication of its future performance. This is strictly the investment
performance of the Participant's Account, and not the returns earned on the contributions. The actual returns earned on
contributions at maturity/surrender will be lower due to Tabarru' amount and expenses.
Total Fee is the amount received by the intermediary and takaful operator for the marketing of this certificate and services that the
intermediary and takaful operator will provide to you for the duration of your certificate.
The investment performance of the Participant's Account (PA) is NOT GUARANTEED. It is possible that the PA value is insufficient to
pay for the Tabarru' and other relevant charges due to poor investment returns. In such case, you will need to pay additional
contributions if you want to maintain your certificate.
Optional riders attachable to this plan does not require any additional contributions as the cost of these riders has been
incorporated into the contributions for your basic certificate. However, participating in these riders could impact your Participant's
Account Value.

Sample Quotation – Family Extension

Legacy Preservation
The Prophet Muhammad (SAW) said:
It is better for you to leave
your inheritors wealthy
rather than to leave them
poor, begging people
(for their sustenance).
