N. L. Dalmia Educational Society was established in the year 1982 by the Late Shri Niranjanlalji
Dalmia with a vision to the society with the power of education. A philanthropic to the core,

Eligibility
Bachelor's degree holder / Graduate in any discipline from a recognised University.
International / SAARC Graduate from a recognized / accredited University / Institution.
(It should be approved by the Association of Indian Universities / Candidate has to bring
its equivalency from Association of Indian Universities).
Students who have appeared for the final year of examination of their bachelor's degree
programme and are awaiting results can also apply, subject to successfully completing their
bachelor's degree programme / graduation within the time period specified by the Institute.

Study Material
The students are provided with a set of high - quality printed study materials. The students are also
given access to e-study material through a state - of - the - art e - learning platform. Study material
is prepared by teams of industry experts and in - house faculty members. A highly innovative curric-
ulum course provides a holistic perspective of innovative thinking, and industry - relevant contem-
porary topics in today’s fast - changing and competitive environment. Students have access to e -
books, remote library access to all e - books, e - journals, e - research material, videos and quizzes.

After admission is confirmed, students are provided with the study material, which consists of e -
books, videos, case studies, etc.

Also, students will get the access to the Institute’s e - library with a remote access facility.

Personal Contact Programmes (PCP)


The Institute will conduct Personal Contact Programmes (PCP) for students every semester
in face - to - face / online mode prior to the mid - term as well as final semester examinations.
During the period, a minimum of 10 hours per subject will be covered in a classroom environment
/ online mode. During the PCPs, the course overview with major concepts will be explained.

PCPs are optional but highly recommended since they encourage peer interaction and provide the
opportunity to clarify doubts related to the examination or curriculum.

Note: The Institute retains the right to add / delete / change PCP dates and delivery modes.

Programme Delivery
The methodology of instruction is different from that of the conventional instruction method.

Print Material: The printed study material of the programme is supplied to the learners in
the form of a single printed book / e - book, which is divided into sections.

Audio - Visual Material Kit: The learning package contains audio and video programmes
for enhanced understanding of the course material given to the student.

Contact Lectures: The Institute conducts contact lectures for each subject in face - to - face /
online mode for a better understanding of the subject by providing an opportunity
to interact with industry experts and faculty members.

application form online, print the completed application form and submit it to the Institute along
with relevant documents and course fees.

Walk - In Admissions
Students may walk into N. L. Dalmia Institute with the completed application form, programme fees,
and all other required documents. Upon satisfying all admission and eligibility criteria, the student
immediately gets admission to the desired programme.

Other Fees
Re - Registration Fees
The re - registration fee is applicable to those students who are not able to complete the course
within four years (i.e. Normal duration of two years plus two years extension).

On expiry of the registration validity period of four years, the student will have to pay the re - regis-
tration fees of ₹6,000/- and can obtain a further one - year extension to clear balance subjects.
If the student has just one subject or only one project report pending then the student will have to
pay ₹3,000/-.

A student can re - register himself twice i.e. after completion of the registration validity period of 4
years, a student has 2 subsequent years to re-register himself and complete the pending subjects.

The same applies to the one - year Diploma Programme (With an extension of 1 year with a regis-
tration fee of ₹3,000/- and one subject / project report pending fee of ₹1,500/-) and to six months
Certification Programme (With an extension of six months with registration fee of ₹1,500/- and one
subject / project report pending fee of ₹750/-).

Examination Fees
The programme fees are inclusive of mid - term as well as final semester exam fees. The exam fees
are valid and applicable to the exams of the semester in which the student’s batch is currently in.
However, in case a student has not appeared for the examination even though he / she has made
a booking for the same, or failed in a specific subject, he / she shall be required to re - appear for
these subjects and will have to pay examination fees. After joining the course, if a student takes a
break and re - joins the course at a later date but during the registration validity period, he will have
to pay re - exam fees for the subjects of the missed semesters.

Cancellation of Admission
A non - refundable Registration Fee of ₹250/- (unless specified otherwise) shall be charged along
with the programme fee for the first semester / year at the time of admission. If a student applies
for the cancellation of admission and refund of fee, the refund request will be considered as per the
Institute policy.

In the event of a student withdrawing before the commencement of the programme the entire fee
collected from the student, after a deduction of the processing fee ₹1,000/- (Rupees One Thousand
only) will be refunded by the Institution.

You can cancel your admission within 45 days from the date of commencement of the course by
forwarding a written application to the Institute and returning it along with its fee receipt challan
and study material. (The Institute will not accept any request for cancellation of admission sent by
e-mail or fax.)

Evaluation Criteria and Assessments


In every semester, there is a mid - term exam and a semester - end exam.
Every subject portion is divided into two parts. The mid - term exam is based on a few initial
chapters and the semester exam is based on the entire syllabus.
Both mid - term as well as semester exams are out of 50 marks. However, a mid - term
assignment carries about 20% weightage and a semester exam carries 80% weightage.
To clear a subject, a student has to secure a minimum of 50% marks which is the
total weightage percentage of both exams.
During mid - term exam, students get 7 - 10 working days period to appear for online exams
on 24 X 7 basis at any time.
Similarly, for end - term exams students get 7 - 10 working days period to appear for online
exams during pre - booked time slot. However, these exams are conducted in proctored
environment and students must have webcam facility while appearing for exams. In case of
statutory requirement, the end - term exam may require to be conducted at physical exam
centres.

**Evaluation of a Project
For 2 years P.G. Diploma, students during the fourth semester is required to upload a project report
with his / her login credentials. The student is required to prepare the report and upload it as per
the guidelines given by the Institute.

For 1 year P.G. Diploma, students during the second semester is required to upload a project report
with his / her login credentials. The student is required to prepare the report and upload it as per
the guidelines given by the Institute.

For 6 months P.G. Certificate, students are required to upload a project report with his / her login
credentials. The student is required to prepare the report and upload it as per the guidelines given
by the Institute.
