Task 1
⇒ The column graph illustrates employment rate variations in six countries, Australia,
Switzerland, Ireland, UK, New Zealand and the USA between 1995 and 2005.

In conclusion, employment rates in these countries improved and the ratio of

employment of Male was bigger in both 1995 and 2005.

To begin with, in 1995, Male employment rates in Switzerland and Iceland was over
60% while it was exactly 60% in New Zealand and under 60% in other countries,
moreover, there is only 56% in Australia, and a quite better rate with around 59% in
the USA. Finally, the percentage of males employed in the UK was around 55%. On
the other hand, the women employed rate this year was really lower with only around
26-28% in Australia and New Zealand, but in other countries, the ratio of females is
pretty good with over 40-55% in 4 left countries.

After 10 years, the employment percentages in both of women and men are extremely
increasing, and the highest employment rate of men was replaced by Iceland with
over 80% and lowest in Australia around 68%. In contrast, the highest women
employment rate belongs to Switzerland with nearly 70% and lowest in Australia
which is under 40%.

Task 2
⇒ In this era, more and more beneficial developments in agriculture systems and modern
equipment are available and invented, which became possible for farmers to use new methods
for producing crops. Farming always requires an amount of physical strength and hard work.
Also, we can hear about the awesome positive impact of scientific developments for farming,
therefore, I strongly agree with this opinion, as discussed below.

To begin with, scientific progress and technological innovations help us research

deeply on plants, open the mystery gate to help them grant resistance to diseases
and pests. Recent years, there are gigantic advancements in our research of plant,
help us producing numerous varieties crop with naturally resistant to bad worm and
diseases, so that the need of chemical application extremely decrease. Moreover,
plants can improve health and productivity, which bring a lot of huge benefits, such
as being healthier, economy better.

Secondly, without these scientific developments, lots of labor is needed to be a

farmer on farmlands for planting enough to meet the needs of the individuals.
Furthermore, farming requires an very high physical requirements, and costs
abundant amount of time for farmer, but replacing old tools with machines can save
their time and their strength. As well as, the amount of these crops such as rice, corn
may be a shortage because of the lack of human resources, and people’s needs are
increasing day by day, so that, if the farmers use scientific developments for farming,
that will bring an awesome positive impact for the world.
In conclusion, we should help them with more developments because of the gigantic
positive impact it brings to us and encourage more people to join this career.
