    Interpretation of results
    ----------------------------------
    • Test conducted on Nasopharyngeal swab/Nasopharyngeal-Oropharyngeal swabs in viral transport media.
    • Detection of ORF1ab and N genes indicates presence of SARS-CoV-2 RNA in the specimen tested.
    • Clinical correlation with patient history and other diagnostic information is necessary to determine patient infection status.
    • Negative results do not preclude SARS-CoV-2 infection and should not be used as the sole basis for patient management
    decisions.
    • Negative results must be combined with clinical observations, patient history and epidemiological information as
    number of factors could lead to a negative result in an infected individual, including but not limited to the following limitations :
    poor quality
    of the specimen, specimen was collected late or very early in the infection, technical reasons inherent in the test,
    e.g. Virus mutuation or PCR inhibition.
