Introduction

“Basic Parts of Hardware of Computer”

Likely to say so ‘basic’ but meant to dig deeper as the information I gain is much

bigger than what I’ve expected.

Choosing ICT (Information Communication Technology) as my strand was really

a perfect choice I’ve made because I knew that my skills and abilities were aligned with the

subjects we took. Not because I am addict in any online games yet I able to learn and

manipulate computers by my own at the very early age (by the time technology became

known and essential in living).

A computer as designed for storing and processing data, typically in binary form,

according to instructions given to it in a variable program. And as what I’ve learned that the

computer’s hardware has and compromised of many different parts but perhaps the most

important of these is the motherboard which meant as the central or main circuit board of

the computer.

Basic parts of computer but with major functions, as well as gaining information for

communication through technology. It encompasses everything and provides wide

information applicable in life, for living or for business.

my very best parents, brothers and sisters for providing me with all my financial needs and

moral supports.

Special thanks to our Dad who is now resting peacefully in heaven and I know that

he is much proud than I am for what journey I am taking now.

 My Life

Education is meant to be my ultimate weapon to become a successful person. The

reason behind why I keep on moving forward is to pursue my dreams and goals in life. Not just

for my own sake but for the sake of putting smiles on the face of my parents, my savior, my

heroes in life.

I am August Nino Escobedo Nicolas, a grade 12 student of AHNS (Aritao National

High School) and soon to graduate my chosen strand ICT (Information Communication

Technology). I considered myself as blessed as I was because with my age, in 20’s, I am still

a senior high school student and not yet taste the feeling of walking on stage wearing an

academic uniform (toga) with confidence along with my proud parents. Yet as I was given a

chance to continue and finish my studies, (high school) I did grab the opportunity and able to

promise to myself that this time, I will be one of the K-12 graduate students batch of 2020-

2021 despite of the pandemic we were facing right now.

Thankful I am that I have these people behind my journey in life. To name some as

always on top are my very supportive parents, family and friends. Honorable mentions are for

these teachers who never failed me to give their support and care when I enrolled again and

continue my studies. As they showed their support and believe in me that this time was never

too late for my dreams to achieved. These persons namely Sir Stevence Pabiona, Sir Jhon Chris

Manuel, Sir Noel Abiva, Ma’am Phoebe Esperanza, Ma’am Nessa and Ma’am Julie Ann

Villegas. As I mentioned their names for they were been our hope to achieve our goals in life

and be successful one, soon.

 With my journey of being a Senior student, I was able to adopt new learnings and

knowledge that was been applicable in my life that gave me big lessons. Lessons that taught

me how to be a human being with a heart and a person with great responsibility. Not just the

memories I treasured, but the time and effort I have just to be sure that every support I received

from my beloved ones were able to paid off, proving to them that their support will never be

wasted. And show to them that they were the reason behind of my success as they meant to be

a big blessing to me especially on the time that I was almost hopeless with my life.

Happy thoughts I have when I was still having my studies especially on the time that

pandemic occurred on our time. So hard to think about how we able to conquer this kind of

sufferings every student has faced. With online classes and modular kind of learning was not

that easy for us but thankful I was, because I was given a gut to keep on moving and strive

harder until I became the person I wished for, a person who makes difference to someone lives

not just for my own sake.

Being a Senior student/ grade 12 is meant to be a do or die kind of learner’s stage. I

say so because I was not that a hundred percent sure that I will survive with the kind of learning

we have now and adding to the point that with my age compared to my classmates who has a

fresher mind than mine. I was stopped for almost two consecutive academic year of schooling

and as a result, I was like a beginner and trying hard to cope up. Not so at ease to be with their

IQ level but with my eagerness to graduate my chosen strand and makes my family proud, I

strive harder and study very well. As a result, I am half way from my journey and a few steps

closer to the top as I am dreaming that my name will be announce as one of the outstanding

graduate students for this year in this school ANHS, my alma mater.

 Looking deeper with what my alma mater taught me, was to be a student with fear of

God and always be a humble one no matter what. I said that because I was raised to have a

strong faith no matter what life I have now, and still have the courage to be very optimistic

towards life which always made me upset and down yet got the faith to keep moving on.

Staying to be a humble student was one thing I’ve found out to myself that I must keep. The

only thing I am proud of that I have this kind of personality and able to share to others. This

surely will bring me on top not for the boastful manner but being a role model to others

especially to the students with life was as same as what I’ve experienced. That was the only

way I can do to show how thankful I am that I was one/ part of the family (ANHS). Thankful

too, that all teachers and students I’ve met in this school became part of my life. Friends that

never leave my side whenever I was in my down’s most of the time. Truly, no man is an island

because I can’t be with this far (my journey) when they were not around.

Striving became my ultimate word of the day since I enrolled and continued my

studies. Too early they say when I said that I will be one of the graduate and able to find work

after. But as I’ve said, “dream high and don’t care about their opinions”. And that was always

my guide to strive deeper and finally, able to taste the fruit of my hard work. As I promised

that no matter what, I will never stop believing and pursuing the best I can. Here, I thought that

it was not that difficult if only you put God first and let everything comes in His way. Then,

everything will become at best and possible to happen. Though, there was no easy way, so I

was able to face some obstacles in life especially when I’m in the middle of schooling and

almost giving up but thanks to myself, I gain trust and hope for my journey to be at very chill.

Able to felt disappointed, hopeless and worthless, but as day passed, every mistakes I have

 become my lessons in life. That’s why already happy and proud that even how many

times I was a failure, I never stop and quit, instead I keep on fighting and ignoring the negativity

of my life.

Proud to say that I am in a few steps closer to my dreams even I know that there are

still some obstacles to face on. Proud because I didn’t quit not just like before that I didn’t even

give a try even I will fail many times but because I was not ready at that time, I thought it was

better not to continue and let the flow of failure and negativity eats me than exerting effort

without knowing what will be the results. Thankful then I am, because someone helped me to

stand on my own and gave me second chance to make my life be back on good track. With

prayers and positive thoughts, I was able to passed all the examinations of life given to me.

Examinations I used to describe because it seems to be a very difficult questions needed to

answer at very best, able to give the correct answer and passed it. It can be wrong answer at

least I’ve learned that the best answer is meant to review, memorize and apply it. Same through

to my life I have. Need to passed and overcome the problems in life, make a way or solution

for it and learn from the lessons it gave to you. And while I was studying I am learning. That’s

why education became my foundation to be successful someday. As you educate yourself, you

are gaining and be the best version of yours. As education already my key to success. Because

when I stopped and didn’t finished my high school, I was being in the wrong path and not so

easy to go back in track as I even felt hopeless and no confidence at all to continue my studies.

Somehow, when I learned that I will never be the best version of myself as there’s always

darkness instead of light (hope), I felt guilty and try to forget what I did in the past and learn to

forgive myself. Give a second chance and grab the opportunity offered to me. That’s why I am

thankful and blessed as well. Soon, I’ll be a person I’ve dreamed before that will make a

 difference to other’s lives. as I imagined that I’ll become a son of both proud parents

(Mrs. Teresita and Mr. Angel E. Nicolas) who was been a failure before, now the best and

worthy one.
