    GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
    1. Online registration for the event shall close at 11:59 PM on 18 th May 2023.
    2. Online Registration for the festival will be possible at
    DIGEX_2023_REGISTRATION.
    3. On the day of the event, the registered schools should report at the registration
    desk strictly between 7:30 AM and 8:30 AM. Late arrivals will not be entertained.
    4. In all the events, the decision of the judges will be final and binding.
    5. The host school’s participation in all events will be non-competitive.
    6. All students must be dressed in their respective school uniform.
    7. Check the DIGEX Society Facebook page for regular updates.
    8. The host school will not be responsible for the security and safety of any equipment
    brought by participants.
    9. Participation in all events is compulsory for being overall winners.
    WORKSHOP

    WORKSHOP FOR TEACHERS

    1. There will be a free workshop for the teacher incharges who will be accompanying
    the participants.
    2. Teachers may carry their DSLRs.
    3. The duration of the workshop will be 2 hours from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
    4. Teachers will be given the opportunity to learn the technicalities of DSLR Cameras.

    ● The participants will be given a topic on which they have to click one picture and
    the photographs must be taken in the school premises.
    ● Only In-Camera Editing is allowed. Any use of editing software will result in
    immediate disqualification.
    ● Only cameras shooting RAW format are allowed.
    ● Phone Photography is strictly prohibited. ● Judgment Criteria

    ● The topic of the storyboard will be disclosed on the spot. Participants must form a story
    based on the topic in 3-5 pictures. Participants will be allowed to decide the no. of
    pictures they’d like to use.
    ● A title must be provided to the story, and captions are allowed but not necessary.
    ● The judges may also ask the participants questions based on the pictures.
    ● Judgment Criteria:

    ○ Technical Skills ○ Relevance to the Topic

    no extra time will be provided for editing.
    ● The pictures should be in .JPG/.JPEG or RAW format. Screenshots of the

    Note:

    ● The topic will be disclosed on 13th May 2023 at www.digexclan.com and entries must be
    submitted on hi-res_submission_digex2023 no later than 11:59 PM, 18th May 2023.
    ● A title must be provided and the video must have a message.
    ● The time duration of the movie should not be more than 4 minutes.
    ● The team will be disqualified if the video is taken from the internet. No stock
    photographs/footage are allowed.
    ● Any copyrighted material should be given proper credit including sound effects.
    ● Judgment Criteria:

    ○ Technical Skills
    ○ Clarity
    ○ Relevance to the Topic
    PRIZES
    - Exciting prizes to be won with first prize DSLR camera!
    - Merit Certificates for all winners and participation certificates for all.

    OVERALL TROPHY
    - The overall trophy will be awarded to the school with maximum points in the events.
    - Schools participating in all the events will get extra 5 points in the scoring system.
    - There is also a first runner up and second runner up trophy for whoever has the most
    points.
