    National Family Benefit Scheme for BPL Families Scheme
    ELIGIBILITY:
    1 Applicant should be permanent resident of Haryana.
    2 His/her name should be registered in BPL list or destitute.
    3 Age is between 18 to 59 years.
    4 Both Husband/Wife are entitle for benefit if they are eligible for the same.

    5 There is no other source of income.


    6 Not receiving any government assistance/pension from any other means
    7 Application must be submitted within one year after the date of death of the bread
    earner.
    8 Application should be made by head of the family and this benefit will be given to such
    surviving members in the family of the deceased, who after investigation will be
    considered as the head of the family. The word family means husband/wife/minor
    children/unmarried daughters and dependent parents. If any woman's parents are also
    living in house of her daughter and son-in-law, then that too will be considered part of
    the family.
    Exclusion:- The following persons shall be excluded for grant of NFBS:-
    1 Those whose children are Class-1/Class-II Gazetted Officer/Official are in service and
    draw salary equivalent to that of a Class-I/Class-II Gazetted Officer/Official.
    2 Whose parents are income tax payee.
    3 Those who themselves/their children are ex-sitting, Member of
    Parliament/M.L.As/Chairman of Board/Corporation.
    4 Those whose children are professional i.e. Doctor, Advocate, Chartered Accountant,
    Income tax consultant, Financial or management consultant, Engineer or Architect.

    ii) Saving Bank account detail of the applicant with a photocopy of the passbook.
    iii) Applicant should have Family I.d.
