Cấu trúc so sánh hơn với tính từ, trạng từ ngắn/ dài
- So sánh hơn: dùng so sánh tính chất của 2 hay nhiều sự vật , hiện tượng.
- CT:
1. So sánh hơn vs adj ngắn/ adv ngắn
S+ V( tobe/V) + adj/ adv ngắn + er + than
VD: She runs faster than her friend
- Tính từ ngắn là tính từ chỉ có 1 / 2 âm tiết và có đuôi: -y, le, ow, er, et
VD: Nice, hot, new
2. So sánh hơn với adj dài/ adv dài
S + V( tobe/V) + more+ adj/ adv + than
VD: He is more intelligent than her
- Tính từ dài là tính từ có 2 âm tiết trở lên
Chú ý: Trạng từ ngắn có 1 âm tiết : Hardly. Bravely
- So sánh nhất : là 1 trong cấu trúc cơ bản dùng để so sánh 3 sự vật , sự việc
để xác định chủ thể vượt trội nhất so với các chủ thể còn lại
- CT:
1. So sánh nhất với adj / adv ngắn
S+ V(tobe) + the + adj/ adv ngắn + est
VD: He is the tallest person in his classroom
2. So sánh nhất với adj / adv dài
S + V(tobe) + the most + adj/ adv dài
VD: My father is the most intelligent person I know

2. So sánh nhất = so sánh ko bằng ( as.... as)
VD: Ho Chi Minh city is the biggest city in Vietnam
 No other city in Vietnam is as big as HCM city

VD: I have never visited France before

5. S + have / has + got + số lượng + Noun
 There is / are + số lượng + Noun
VD: The school has 500 students
 There are 500 students in the school
VD: There is one computer in the library
