    SUBJECT : Report on Violation of PD 705

    DATE : July 8, 2024

    1. Reference: Calitaan MPS Blotter No. 2024-01-195 dated July 8, 2024.

    2. This pertains to the Violation of PD 705 that transpired at Sitio Peri, Brgy
    Poypoy, Calintaan, Occidental Mindoro on July 8, 2024 at about 4:00 PM, wherein
    the suspect was identified as Juan Dela cruz, male, fillipino, 45 years old (June 14,
    1980), single, farmer and a resident of Brgy Poblacion, Calintaan, Occidental
    Mindoro.

    3. At about 3:45 PM of July 8, 2024, Calitaan MPS received a phonecall


    from concerned citizen that there was an alleged transport of illegally cut lumbers at
    the aforementioned place. Upon received of the information personnel of Calintaan
    MPS proceeded to the reported place to verify the veracity of the report. Upon
    arriving at the place the suspect failed to present any legal documents of cut
    lumbers that resulted to the arrest of the above named suspect and confiscation of
    illegally cut lumbers and the vehicle used in transporting. The confiscated
    evedences are following; Gemelina specie with Ten (10) pcs of 2x3x12 BF, Five (5)
    pcs of 2x4x10 BF, Ten (10) pcs of 2x2x12 BF with the total Four Hundred (400)
    board feet with value amounting Fourteen Thousand Pesos (Php14,000.00) and
    One (1) Isuzu Track Wind Van with plate No. ABD 21334 and owned by Mr. Lorvin B
    Mapalo a resident of San Jose, Occidental Mindoro. Marking and inventory of the
    evidences were done at the place of arrest witness by Barangay Kagawad Cripin R
    Bañaga and DENR employee Noel Salgado. The Arrested suspect apprised his
    constitutional right and were brought to Calitaan MPS for documentation and proper
    disposition piecesbooking proc of evidence while confiscated illegal cut lumbers
    where brought to DENR.The responding personnel returned at Calitaan MPS at
    around 5:30 PM of the same date. Investigation on case PMSg John Michael R
    Riego with Contact No. 09151181245.
