Exercise Time
Public swim is a great way for the kids to expend energy and have fun. Spend the afternoon (1 - 3 p.m.) or evening (7:00 - 8:30 p.m.) in the water; enjoy mats, noodles or game of basketball. The diving board and big slide are also available. Children eight years and younger require an adult join them in the water. Kids Hot Tub Time too!
Summer Splash is our FREE public swim session and is an annual tradition on the first Monday of summer break. Join us Monday, June 17th from 1:30 - 3 p.m. and 7 - 8:30 p.m. Children eight years and younger require an adult join them in the water.

The Chehalem Park & Recreation District Chehalem Aquatic & Fitness Center is an indoor year-round facility home to award-winning programs including swim lessons, water polo and swim team. We have a six lane L shaped pool (25 yds x 25 m) that ranges in depth from 3.5 to 11 with a tot dock, slides, diving board, water basketball and a Tarzan rope swing. Other amenities include a fitness center, classroom, spectator area, family dressing rooms, indoor preschool playground (dry area), hot tub and saunas. Are you in charge of hosting a meeting or a party? Schedule this area for cake and ice cream, potluck, etc.; seats up to 35. A fridge and microwave are available. Rent by the hour (be sure to include your set up and clean up time) fees starting at $20/25.
Session 2-A This 4-lesson session runs for 45 minutes with a maximum enrollement of four students. All skill levels may not be available. July 1 - 5 with no class July 4.
We are pleased to announce that our newly renovated patio featuring picnic tables, ping pong tables, volleyball and tetherball will be available for use during the warm weather months. The patio is on the west side of the facility and is accessed through the building.
Aquatic Sports
Water Polo
Water Polo combines basketball, football and swimming. It is played with a yellow volleyball-like ball in a pool with six players and a goalie on each team. The object is to put the ball into the opponents net, similar to soccer or basketball using a playbook like football. Join our winning program. Boys and girls of all ages and skill levels are welcome.
Lifeguard Training
