A school trip

Mrs Harris, the Geography teacher, and Mr Newton, the History

teacher, organised a school trip to London with Bill and Sam's class.
They divided the students into groups and here are two reports.

Text A
In the morning we visited the
Tower of London. There were a lot of
tourists there. We listened to the
guard. He explained the story of the
Tower. It was extremely interesting.
We learned that it was a castle, then
a prison, and now a museum. We
also admired the Crown Jewels in the
Jewel House. They are the Queen's
Jewels.
Then we decided to go to Oxford
Street. Sam wanted to buy a teddy
bear for her sister.
After that, we visited Madame Tussaud's wax museum. It was
fantastic! We recognised many famous actors like Brad Pitt and
important people like the President of the USA. The wax figures
looked very real. Amy believed that one of them was a real person! It
was so funny!

Text B
It was very tiring to visit the
Natural History Museum because there
were so many things to see. We
enjoyed the dinosaurs very much. We
discovered a lot of things about
dinosaurs. We also loved the giant
blue whale - 28 metres, can you
imagine? We also looked at the
spiders and the birds. We liked the
Earth Gallery very much because it
was like being inside a volcano!
In the afternoon we visited
London Zoo. We 10 tried to help the animals, so we adopted a turtle.
We are going to feed our turtle for a year. It's a beautiful zoo.
After the zoo, we decided to go to the London Eye. It was a sunny
day, so it was perfect to admire London from the sky. It was possible
to take photographs of London. It was fantastic!
At the end of the day we were terribly tired.
