Image denoising autoencoder is a classical issue in the field of digital
image processing where compression and decompression functions
are lossy and data specific. In this paper, we use the autoencoder
technique on RGB (Red, Green and Blue) color scheme dataset, we
added Gaussian noise on CIFER-10 dataset and then encoded by using
a 2D convolutional neural network. Similarly, we decode noisy datasets
to train our model. After training, the proposed method can learn
denoising data and returns effective results. (PDF) Image Denoising

Facial Expression Recognition with Histogram of

Oriented Gradients using CNN

Objectives: A new method is introduced in this study for Facial
expression recognition using FER2013 database consisting seven
classes consisting (Surprise, Fear, Angry, Neutral, Sad, Disgust, Happy)
in past few decades, Exploration of methods to recognize facial
expressions have been active research area and many applications
have been developed for feature extraction and inference. However, it
is still challenging due to the high-intra class variation. Methods/
Statistical Analysis: we deeply analyzed the accuracy of both
handcrafted and leaned aspects such as HOG. This study proposed
two models; (1) FER using Deep Convolutional Neural Network (FER-
CNN) and (2) Histogram of oriented Gradients based Deep
Convolutional Neural Network (FER-HOGCNN). the training and testing
accuracy of FER-CNN model set 98%, 72%, similarly Losses were 0.02,
2.02 respectively. On the other side, the training and testing accuracy
of FER-HOGCNN model set 97%, 70%, similarly Losses were 0.04, 2.04.
Findings: It has been found that the accuracy of FER-HOGCNN model is
good overall but comparatively not better than Simple FER-CNN. In
dataset the quality of images are low and small dimensions, for that
reason, the HOG loses some important features during training and
testing. Application/Improvements: The study helps for improving the
FER System in image processing and furthermore, this work shall be
extended in future, and order to extract the important features from
images by combining LBP and HOG operator using Deep Learning
models.

PERFORMANCE ANALYSIS OF FAKE SOCIAL

MEDIACONTENT BASED ON DEEP LEARNING METHODS

Nowadays, social media platform has enhanced tremendously in the
last few years and considered one of major source of for information
seeking and sharing in low cost. Due to the growth of data, The Fake
news are quickly dominating and spreading the information, and
distorting the community for sharing their own thoughts, knowledge
and point of view regarding towards to any topic. In this paper,
structural features with updated RNN and LSTM methods are
proposed to improve the performance of system on fake news data.
The system uses attention layer with RNN and LSTM to update the
weights and values of different features. The performance of model
also compared with various hyper parameters such activation,
optimization, and dropout. The Proposed Model based with Long
Short Term Memory (LSTM) categorize the features closer on original
and fake news with customized hyper parameters and random search.
The experimental results also depicted that deep learning methods
outperformed when size of data samples is high. Furthermore, we
showed that combining strong feature engineering with deep learning
models, we can more concisely identify the fake news with state-of-art
results.

CONFERENCES AND SEMINARS

Conference: International Conference on Data Science
Classifying text in Urdu is very challenging task, especially when we
have multiple classes to implement in multiple machine learning
algorithms. In this paper, we are actively scraping Urdu news heading
from news agencies including BBC Urdu and Urdupoint. Our corpus
contains 141289 new words of eight categories with Armed forces,
International, Entertainment, Education, Accident, Local, Sports, and
Weather. The machine learning algorithms were not able to work
directly on the data, so we applied the preprocessing techniques like
stop words removal and a feature vector. Our model classify text into
multiple category and after comparing different machine learning
algorithms, Ridge Classifier is the best predictor and we achieved up to
87% accuracy.
