1000 patients” as partial fulfillment for the degree of MD Anaesthesiology from Rajiv
Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka. Above Dissertation was done under the
guidance of Dr. Nagalakshmi.V, Professor and Head, Department of Anaesthesiology, JSS
Medical College, Mysore.

1) “Hemodynamic and anesthetic advantages of Dexmedetomidine” an original article

presented in the National conference of Indian Society of Anesthesiologists held in
Mumbai in December 2011
2) “Effect of Dexmedetomidine on hemodynamic stability, reducing the requirement of
potent inhalational anesthetics and recovery” an original article presented in the
Andhrapradesh state conference of Anesthesiologists held at Vijayawada in October
2011

 Anaesthetic management of patients of all ages undergoing surgical procedures in the

specialties of neurosurgery, pediatric and neonatal surgery, maxillofacial &
craniofacial surgery, orthopedics & trauma, ENT, obstetrics & gynaecology,
ophthalmology, urology, reconstructive surgery, laparoscopic surgeries and surgical
gastroenterology .
 Regional anesthetic techniques: epidural, spinal and regional blocks.
 Labour analgesia – Actively involved in providing labour analgesia services in our

hospital
 Well versed with different techniques of airway management including fiber optic
airway management; adult and pediatric.
 Sedation for dental and various diagnostic procedures including MRI, upper GI
endoscopy, colonoscopy, ERCP, endoscopic ultrasound and double balloon
enteroscopy.
 Management of pain in post-operative and terminally ill cancer patients.

 Intensive care management of critically ill patients, central venous canulation, arterial
canulation, arterial blood gas analysis, management of fluid and electrolyte
