Activity Type Introduction


Reading, matching and This verbs worksheet helps students learn and practice 20 common
writing activity verbs in English. The worksheet can be used with '20 Common
Verbs Card Game', which provides practice with the same verbs.

Language Focus Procedure


Common verbs
Give each student a copy of the worksheet.
Present simple
Students begin by matching 12 verbs with words or phrases that
can go with the verbs.
Aim
