Topic: The most important jobs/
Popular jobs in your country
1. Introduction to Vietnam's current trends in job selection
Every adult who is old enough to think should consider their career as a major
concern. Because having a career not only increases our money and wealth but also
provides us with a strong social network, making our lives more suited to society at all
times. Making a career decision for yourself is deciding for your future. The decision
on a career is crucial and essential. Making the wrong professional decision implies
preparing yourself for a less-than-secure and stable future.
Everyone always expects to be rich or to their own company. Some people dream of
becoming leaders, politicians, and famous stars. Others are interested in becoming
poets, writers, and novelists while most of us generally have a desire to become
engineers, doctors, and scientists of great repute. It is not easy to choose a career that
is suitable or relevant to your major today. Hundreds of students are leaving schools
and universities every year to seek employment in various professions, though
employment opportunities are not increasing proportionately. As a result, the rate of
unemployment is increasing rapidly every year. Although work prospects have not
expanded equally, hundreds of students graduate each year and find employment in a
variety of industries. Consequently, the unemployment rate is rising quickly each year.
Career choice is a popular subject for young people and students in every community
and nation.
Today's children in Vietnam have several chances for interaction, education, and
exploration of a wide range of occupations. To keep up with the quick changes of the
times, they are willing to adapt by gaining soft skills, computer proficiency, and
foreign language proficiency. They reject the outmoded belief that "the only route to
success for young people is through higher education." As a result of this strategy,
young people now have a foundation upon which to establish their standards for
selecting a good vocation. Some studies indicate that the top four concerns for
students while selecting a career are as follows:
First of all, a person's work should be a reflection of their passions, interests, and
skills. Every individual is predisposed to be interested in a certain line of work from
birth. Finding a career that matches your interests and skills will thus take precedence
in this situation.
Second, having a reliable source of income is crucial. You would surely never take a
job that pays three dong because you only believe that it is insufficient to support
living expenses.

4
The third requirement is that working hours must be reasonable given the person's real
circumstances. The perfect career for young people will always have suitable time
requirements, including working time as well as rest and recreation time.
Fourth, there are chances for career progression. Nobody wants a job where they can
only advance from where they were. Everyone wants to make a statement at work by
applying all of their mental effort to doing the task to the best of their ability.
Additionally, they desire to be suitably rewarded for their accomplishments through
promotions and pay raises.
You may have several plans before graduating and think that picking a job won't be
challenging. However, you'll discover that there are others with greater credentials
eager to apply for the same post after graduation. That indicates that the position you
were eager to seek may have been filled by another candidate. In actuality, a lot of
workers are employed in professions unrelated to their degrees. Today's youth have a
lot of options. Recognize your real strengths as well as your abilities: To have a ready
career when you start the field, always arm yourself with in-depth information,
methodical skills, and an eager attitude mixed with good habits.
2. Definition of “job”
A job is an activity that is routinely
carried out in exchange for money or
income, typically as a person's
employment. A person frequently
begins a career by taking an
employment position, volunteering, or
launching a business. A job's duration
might be anything between an hour and
a lifetime. A career is possible for a person who has received the necessary training.
A person's career is the culmination of all of their life's work.
Most people will put in eight hours per day and forty or more hours per week of paid
labor.
There are two categories for classifying employment:
Sort jobs according to their professions and job titles: business, the arts, medical, the
media, education, technology, ...
Work categories include full-time, part-time, at-home, seasonal, internship, and
probationary positions.

Now, we're going to take a look at the most popular jobs today. Here are four jobs
that are of great interest in Vietnam.

1. Teacher
To me, it's a teacher's profession because
in the current era, the issue of education
is of great concern to parents and they
invest a lot in it.
In particular, in Vietnam, being a teacher
is a respected job because it requires
good knowledge and merit. Besides,
every teacher devotes all his or her life
to education. It usually isn’t because of
the money or the three-month summer
vacation. Reasons for becoming a teacher are deeper than that, and while they are
personal, they are almost all united by the desire to impact people’s peoples’ lives.
A teacher is a person who teaches and educates students, plans, conducts lessons, and
practices within the school's curriculum. At the same time, teachers are also the ones
who monitor and evaluate student's abilities.
Teachers are not only communicators of common knowledge, but also guides, and
mentors learning activities that help students take the initiative, actively explore, and
master knowledge. Teachers need to be able to innovate learning methods.
Today’s society requires teachers to have computer skills and use information
technology in teaching, to have a certain level of foreign languages to keep up with
the requirements of developing content, renovating teaching methods study your
subject at school.
The teacher must always be conscious and competent, and constantly improve
personality, ethics, and lifestyle and improve professional and professional
qualifications, promote independence and creativity in pedagogical activities, and
know how to coordinate smoothly with the school's pedagogical collective in realizing
educational goals.
The process of studying at the pedagogical school is only the initial training, the basis
for the next training process in which the ability to self-study and self-training plays
an important role, determining success. Teachers must be able to solve problems
arising in educational teaching practice by summarizing experiences, and promoting
initiatives, and experimental pedagogy.
Teaching is similar to growing a tree up, you must have patience, carefulness, and
passion. A teacher who teaches knowledge, but more importantly teaches to be
human. Must treat students as you, and put yourself in the position of students that
teach.
In Vietnam, the salary of a teacher is quite low, but teachers are always wholehearted
and dedicated to their students.
6
In short, the teaching profession is one of the most popular and respectable
professions in my country. A great teacher always wants to help students along their
path and to play a part in shaping the person they hope to become.
