• This animal has muscled arms and short legs, giving it somewhat of the appearance
of cross between a kangaroo and a lemur, its height around 50-56 cm. They live in
the rainforests of Indonesia and Australia. Right now, there are only about 50 tree
kangaroos left in the world, which is very low.
• They are in danger because some indigenous people are hunting them for food,
and their homes are getting smaller due to illegal cutting down trees, which makes
it hard for them to survive.
• Organizations like WWF are working hard to protect tree kangaroos by stopping
deforestation and illegal hunting, so these animals can live safely and continue to
thrive in their natural habitats.
• I think it is very important to help tree kangaroos because they are unique and play
a key role in their environment. We should all do our part to make sure they do
not disappear.
