II. Rationale
United Nations (UN) Day is an annual commemorative day, reflecting the official creation
of the United Nations on October 24, 1945. The UN is a global organization that promotes peace,
security, and cooperation among countries in addressing global challenges.
In today's generation, with numerous challenges and changes brought by the rapid growth
of new inventions and technological advancements, it is not enough to passively receive these
changes. It is necessary to open up the minds of the youth to become active voices and
responsible global citizens. This year's celebration provides us with the opportunity to unite
around a common agenda for a shared future.
Tipas Elementary School-Annex is committed to shaping the future and is actively
participating in this global event. We understand the significance of involving young people in
global issues and activities. Through educational and enjoyable activities, our learners will value
the importance of collaboration, cultural diversity, and sustainable development. We believe that
this event will empower them to take action in their communities, leading to positive change and
contributing to a better, more just, and peaceful world.

III. Objectives
1. Increase Awareness about the United Nations: To educate learners on the history,
purpose, and importance of the UN and its role in promoting peace and global
development.
2. Encourage Cultural Appreciation and Inclusivity: To celebrate cultural diversity
within the school and promote respect, understanding, and unity among students from
different backgrounds.
3. Empower Youth to Take Action: To inspire learners to take meaningful action in their
communities and contribute to programs that support sustainability, equality, and peace.
