3 Description of the Best Integrated Horticulture Sector Management System
Practice (IHSMS) is developed to facilitate Single Window
Service Delivery for all State as well as Centrally
Sponsored schemes of Government of India.

IHSMS has helped in improvement of outcomes in


various areas like service delivery, turn-around time,
transparency, monitoring and reduction in compliance
burden of various schemes at ground level.

Directorate of Horticulture, Himachal Pradesh through


Horticulture Development Project funded by World Bank
has taken a lead over other States & UTs of India in
initiating online delivery of all Horticulture Sector
Services to the beneficiaries or stakeholders of Directorate
of Horticulture (DoH) and envisaged by providing ICT
infrastructure, training to all stakeholders and multi-
channel delivery of all G2C, G2B services as well as
advisory to farmers through mobile app etc.

It also facilitates training to farmers on various crop


management, spraying etc.

Further to reduce compliance burden and facilitate


farming community, integration of eUdyan portal has also
been done with following department/agencies:

i. HIMKOSH (H.P. Treasury)


ii. HIMBHUMI (Land Records)
iii. eDistrict (Himachal Online Seva)
iv. Digilocker
v. PFMS
vi. State DBT Portal

efficient communication for effective decision-
making.
 KPI based dashboard for decision support and status
tracking.
 7 days’ helpdesk to redress the grievances of farmers
and provide support as well.
 Compatible Mobile application download facility for
android users to avail the services.
