1 Title of the Best Practice Integrated Horticulture Sector Management System
(IHSMS) 2 Portal URL eudyan.hp.gov.in 3 Description of the Best Integrated Horticulture Sector Management System Practice (IHSMS) is developed to facilitate Single Window Service Delivery for all State as well as Centrally Sponsored schemes of Government of India.
IHSMS has helped in improvement of outcomes in
various areas like service delivery, turn-around time, transparency, monitoring and reduction in compliance burden of various schemes at ground level.
Directorate of Horticulture, Himachal Pradesh through
Horticulture Development Project funded by World Bank has taken a lead over other States & UTs of India in initiating online delivery of all Horticulture Sector Services to the beneficiaries or stakeholders of Directorate of Horticulture (DoH) and envisaged by providing ICT infrastructure, training to all stakeholders and multi- channel delivery of all G2C, G2B services as well as advisory to farmers through mobile app etc.
It also facilitates training to farmers on various crop
management, spraying etc.
Further to reduce compliance burden and facilitate
farming community, integration of eUdyan portal has also been done with following department/agencies:
i. HIMKOSH (H.P. Treasury)
ii. HIMBHUMI (Land Records) iii. eDistrict (Himachal Online Seva) iv. Digilocker v. PFMS vi. State DBT Portal 4 Features of the Best Electronic workflow system to improve internal Practice administrative efficiency and transparency. Modernized infrastructure to improve the business process/function of department. Single and integrated view of IHSMS’s information system across all functions and locations. Availability of relevant information on regular basis. In-built Subsidy Scheme computation & eligibility validator. Cutting edge technology to Department field level official for providing efficient and effective advisory support to farmers in a time frame. Centralized Application System for streamlining operations of Horticulture Department, HPHDP and associated offices. Automated system for faster processing of public cases & dissemination of information. Centralized data System to facilitate fast, secure and efficient communication for effective decision- making. KPI based dashboard for decision support and status tracking. 7 days’ helpdesk to redress the grievances of farmers and provide support as well.
