• Introduction to Web Design In this course students will learn the basics of web design. Basic fundamentals of web design are taught, including the use of hyperlinks, tables, and CSS. Learn how to edit and create webpages using text and images. Students will learn to think creatively about content. The designs for website appearance will be made based upon that content. This class is mandatory for Computer Technology majors. • Introduction to Web Development This course teaches students the fundamentals of building websites. Information covered includes coding with html and xml. Students will learn how to increase website functionality and usability. Techniques for improving website visibility and navigation are also covered. This class is mandatory for Computer Technology majors and builds on the Introduction to Web Design class.
