O’BRIEN “ONE-PAGE-RULES”
ON YOUR TURN
1. Take ONE of your own pieces (Dice/Tokens) from the Chaos Board & toss it into your Bag of Holding. If
there are none of your own pieces on the Chaos Board, you must take 1 of another player’s (if any).
2. Shake your Bag of Holding to mix it up! Reach in grabbing only ONE piece, then choose to place it (Step
#3) OR just toss it back into your Bag of Holding & skip to Step #4..
3. Place the grabbed piece, depending on what it is:
YOUR OWN DICE: Roll it! Then place it on an empty “Dice Pouch Icon” on your board, that is equal or
greater than the number printed on it, matching the die result. Only 1 Die may be placed on a Dice Pouch
Icon at a time. If you are unable to place the die on your Player Board, return it to your Bag of Holding,
then continue to Step #4. If you roll a “20” while not using your Wand, add it to your Dice Pouch, then you
may immediately take a bonus grab! (Go back to step #2)
YOUR OWN TOKENS: Place it on the corresponding spot on your Player Board. You may now use it for its
magical effect if able. Then continue to Step #4.
OTHER PLAYERS’ DICE/TOKENS: Toss it into that player’s Bag of Holding to take a bonus grab! (Go back to
step #2; there is no limit to how many times you may do this on a single turn) OR just add it to the Chaos
Board, ending your turn..
4. Lastly, if you do not add any of your own Dice/Tokens to the Chaos Board this turn: shake your Bag of
Holding, grab 1 piece and add it to the Chaos Board. If your Bag of Holding is empty, choose another player
and grab from their Bag of Holding, adding it to the Chaos Board!
SKIPPING A TURN You may skip your turn to then take up to 2 of your own Dice/Tokens from the Chaos Board
including 1 from the top left corner of your Player Board (if any) & toss them into your Bag of Holding.
SACKING DICE When you have placed all three Tokens in a row, you may toss any* Dice placed in that same
row into your Dice Pouch. *You may “sack” up to 2 dice at a time, using the bottom 3 rows. Then add ALL THREE of
those Tokens to the Chaos Board.
ACTIVATE MAGIC ITEMS Move 1 Token from a row on your Player Board to the "Activate Corner" (upper left
corner), adding any Token currently in that corner to the Chaos Board. Then apply the magical effect. You may
also activate a Magic Item that was previously placed in the Activate Corner by adding it to the Chaos Board. This
allows you to use multiple items and some twice on the same turn!
WAND- Add +1 to the result of the Die you just rolled. RING- Immediately after rolling a die, re-roll it. GEM- During
your turn, move a Die on your board up or down 1 row. POTIONS- During your turn, grab 3 pieces instead of 1. Keep
1 to place, tossing the other 2 back into your Bag of Holding. COINS- Set aside the piece you just grabbed from
your Bag of Holding & grab a gain. Place/use the new piece (if you can) then toss the original piece back into your
Bag of Holding. BOXES- At any time during the game (even during other players’ turns) take any 1 piece from the
Chaos Board and toss it into the Bag of Holding of your choice.
MAGE HAND (Press-Your-Luck) When you grab 1 of your own Dice/Tokens from your Bag of Holding while not
using a Magic Item, you may cast this conjuration spell by placing that piece in the “Mage Hand Corner” (upper
right corner) of your Player Board.
Now, you may continue to grab up to FOUR more Dice/Tokens from your own Bag of Holding OR you may
choose another player and grab from THEIR Bag of Holding (1 at a time; stop at any time), placing them in
the upper right corner. When you’re done grabbing, place them on the rows on your Player Board (rolling
any dice first). You cannot activate any Magic Items on this turn. However, when you grab a piece that is
NOT your own color, you must immediately add everything grabbed on this turn to the Chaos Board!
You may also cast ‘Mage Hand’ at the start of your turn if your Bag of Holding is EMPTY by taking 1 of your own
Dice/Tokens from the Chaos Board OR your Player Board, placing it directly in the “Mage Hand Corner”. Then,
choose another player and grab from their Bag of Holding to complete the “Mage Hand” spell.
