    EXCERPT FROM THE MINUTES OF THE 9th REGULAR SESSION OF THE


    SANGGUNIANG KABATAAN OF BARANGAY PULIDAN TITAY, ZAMBOANGA
    SIBUGAY HELD AT BARANGAY HALL, PULIDAN, TITAY, ZAMBOANGA SIBUGAY
    ON OCTOBER AT 8 O’CLOCK IN THE MORNING.

    A RESOLUTION APPROVING AND ENDORSING THE ACTIVITIES FOR ARAW NG


    BARANGAY 2024 CELEBRATION

    WHEREAS, the Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) is mandated to promote youth


    participation and engagement in cultural and social activities that foster
    community spirit, camaraderie, and local development;

    WHEREAS, the annual Araw ng Barangay celebration is a vital event that


    strengthens the bonds among residents, encouraging cooperation and unity,
    while highlighting the talents and contributions of various sectors, including
    the youth;

    WHEREAS, the proposed activities for the celebration of Araw ng Barangay


    2024 include the following:
    Inter-Barangay Basketball

    December 08, 2024 (Sunday):

    Opening Parade for Araw ng Pulidan

    A grand parade to officially open the week-long celebration of Araw ng


    Barangay 2024, featuring community members, local organizations, and
    various sectoral groups.

    December 09, 2024 (Monday):

    SK and Barangay Officials’ Night

    Performing Groups:

    SK Officials

    Barangay Officials

    BPATs (Barangay Peacekeeping Action Team)

    Women’s Group

    Lupon (Barangay Justice Committee)

    Tyro Gyn Phi (Youth Organization)

    Elementary Teachers

    MCSST

    The night will be filled with performances from the above-mentioned groups,
    promoting fellowship and entertainment for all attendees.

    December 10, 2024 (Tuesday):

    Field Demonstration (Morning)

    Tiktok Competition and Awarding

    These activities are designed to showcase the skills, creativity, and


    athleticism of barangay youth and residents. The Tiktok competition
    highlights the youth’s digital creativity, while the ball games encourage
    sportsmanship and friendly competition among barangays.
    WHEREAS, these activities are expected to encourage greater participation
    from the youth, foster a sense of pride in the community, and promote
    healthy competition, teamwork, and social interaction among barangay
    members;

    NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the


    Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay [Your Barangay], to approve and endorse
    the proposed activities for the Araw ng Barangay 2024 celebration,
    recognizing its role in uniting the community and providing opportunities for
    talent development, athletic engagement, and social bonding;

    RESOLVED FURTHER, that the SK Chairperson and SK Secretary be


    authorized to collaborate with the Barangay Council, school representatives,
    and other local organizations to ensure the smooth and successful
    implementation of these activities;

    RESOLVED FURTHERMORE, that funds necessary for the execution of the


    activities be allocated from the SK budget, and that solicitations from local
    sponsors be pursued to support the event;

    Approved and adopted this 19th day of October, 2024, at Barangay Pulidan,
    ZTitwt Zamboanga Sibugay Province.
