DESCRIPTION

Introduce students to the core concepts and principles of

Subject Description A database is an organized collection of
data which is stored in the computer according to a certain rule. A
database management system to manage and query data
efficiently.
The aim of this course is to provide students an overview of
Database Management Systems, especially in relational database

systems. The concepts and skills in Relational Model of Data,
Design Theory of Databases, Integrity Constraint, also some
aspects of Data manipulation on Relational such as relation
algebra, PL/SQL, function, procedure, trigger & constraints are
presented.
During the course, students will have a chance to practice on a
DBMS such as MySQL.
