Annual Sports Meet 2024-25
Lets applaud and show the world that we are the energetic students of CFC
public school and will show our tip to toe energy to everybody.
2. School Prayer
Let us start our day by offering prayer to that supreme almighty.
I would like to call Stuti of class VI for the School Prayer.
I request all of you to please stand straight, join your hands, and close your
eyes and start praying.
Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name, thy kingdom come, thy will
be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and Forgive us
our tresspasses as we forgive those who tresspass against us. Lead us not into
temptation but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, the power and the
glory for ever and ever Amen.
3.Prayer Song
Now, I would like to call upon students of class VI to IX to lead us into the prayer
song. May this prayer song not just be words that we listen to, but let them
resonate within each one of us, giving us peace, strength, and courage to handle
what lies ahead?
Thank you for that soulful prayer. We hope it has instilled in us a sense of
calmness and has prepared us for the activities planned for the day.
“We play fair and we play hard. If we win the game we win, if we lose the
game, we lose”.
So lets play hard, play fair, show respect and sportmansspirit and last but not
the least enjoy the games.
5. March Past
Today is not an ordinary day. Rather, it is a day that commemorates
the ethos of unity, discipline, and hard work. It is a day that celebrates the
spirit of teamwork and cooperation. And what better way to understand and
appreciate this spirit than to commence our day with an electrifying March
Past!
Marching is more than just about steps and formation. In fact, it is a
beautiful portrayal of discipline, unity, harmony, and grit. And every step
taken, is a testament of sheer determination and dedication of each team.
March Past is all about synchronization and team work. Marching in a
contingent demands alertness and an unspoken co-ordination.
The drumbeat rolls, and a high pitched voice issues a command. The
synchronized swing of arms and the thudding feet stir something within us.
So, let's embrace this spectacle with a grand cheer. And now, the
moment we all have been waiting for.
Here on the marching track, I invite House the Love House to
commence with the march. Right in Front marching is Master Armaan
Sharma from Class XI Non Medical guiding the entire parade of cadets.
Let's applaud their effort. Here at insight is the house in Brilliant Blue
which is the color of Sky and ocean . Blue Symbolises Serenity, stability ,
Calmness and wisdom.
Following them is the Joy House dressed in their passionate purple
which symbolises royality, nobility and power. Marching confidently ahead
is young and dynamic Flag bearer Rishu from XI Commerce .
Now watching the adorable marching of Truth house dressed in their
Ravishing Red which color of passion and energy. Leading the contingent
is their flag bearer Master Hargun Singh from XI Commerce.
Now at your sight is Peace House in their Gorgeous Green Color
symbolizing freshness, prosperity and growth. Right in Front marching is
Master Jotsaroop Singh from Class XI Medical.
Oath Taking Ceremony .
All the Flag bearers are approaching the saluting base in perfect harmony
and perfect discipline, synchronicity at its peak.
Look at the charisma that every marcher exudes. The synchronization, the
order, the team spirit, look at how they captivate the field and our hearts!
6. Lazium Dance
Lazium is a folk dance form, from the state of Maharashtra.
Lezim originated during the times of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj
as a form of exercise for his 'mavlas' (soldiers).
It later evolved into a dance form requiring the performers use a
wooden idiophone with thin metal discs. The dance form gets its name
from the musical instrument called Lezim.
Lezim is more of a vigorous physical exercise and drill than a dance
I would like to invite students of class 6-9 for the Lazium dance
performance on Marathi beats and a mashup with Waka Waka ( This
time for Africa ) from 2010 Football world cup music album .
Give them a round of applause.
9. Basketball Dance
Dance and sports can complement each other because they share many
abilities, such as balance, focus, and the ability to use space, time, and
energy. In fact, some Olympic sports, like artistic gymnastics, rhythmic
gymnastics, and artistic swimming, have roots in dance or borrow from its
technique.
Now, without any further ado, let's create an environment of rhythm, grace,
and harmony . Please put your hands together as I invite boys of class VIII
and IX for the basketball dance.
Let's give a blistering round of applause for our performers who have filled our
hearts with joy and excitement.
10. Declaring Annual Sport Meet Open
Now I request our honourable Administrator Pastor Alex Abraham Sir to address
you and declare the Annual Sports Meet 2024-25 open.
Garba and dandiya is a traditional Gujarati folk dance that honors, worships,
and celebrates the feminine form of divinity. The dance is traditionally
performed during the festival of Navratri.
Rajasthani folk dances are known for their rich and beautiful culture.
I would like to invite students of class VIII and IX for the Folk dance from
western part of India on the theme “aayo re shubh din aayo re “.
***National Anthem***
