CIRCUITRY

CIRCUIT
It is a combination of source of electricity, A load and a conductor that the
electron can travel in a continuous stream.
Consist of three parts:

SOURCE – Anything that Produced Electricity is a source.

(Geothermal, Hydrothermal, Wind Energy, Biogas, Photo Electric Energy,
etc…)
CONDUCTING PATH (Conductors) - Substance and Materials that
makes the current flows. (Person, Metal, Copper, Silver, Gold, Water, etc…)

LOAD – Anything that consumed Electricity is a load.

(Appliances, Power tools, Medical instrument, etc…..)

“SIMPLE CIRCUIT”

Only the load in external loops and the terminal

of voltage are used to determine. This type of circuit is
consisted of only one device, A voltage source and the
connecting wires.

“SERIES CIRCUIT”
A series circuit is containing only one path for a current flow.
The current comes from the voltage source and must be
traveled through one single path of conductor which is
connected end to end of loads and return to the other side of
voltage source.

“PARALLEL CIRCUIT”

When resistance exist, instead of being connected from

end to end as in series circuit. These circuits are
connected side by side so that there exist more than one
path through which current can flow.
The resistance are said to be parallel.

WIRING EXERCISE # 4
“2 – GANG CIRCUIT”
This circuit is the most common type of installation in a
residential and commercial establishment.

This switch are Place together in a plate that is way they

called it a Gang.
The advantage of this circuit is that we are making less of a
wire for this type of installation.

WIRING EXERCISE # 10
“DARK CIRCUIT”
With this circuit we have a possibility to switch this
circuit on 220 volts. We have used this kind of circuit in
hospital illumination so that we may not disturb the
sleepers with single pole switch and we can also switch
this circuit with normal light.

To light the bulb in series we can switch the light A

to light B.
