Internships provide hands-on experience in a real-world setting, helping you
apply theoretical knowledge from your studies. Internships help develop both
technical skills and soft skills like communication and teamwork. Relevant
experience from internships can make your resume stand out to future
employers. AutoCAD is essential for careers in fields like architecture,
engineering, and design. Experience with AutoCAD through an internship can
lead to job offers or open doors for further career advancement in related
fields. Working with AutoCAD in a real-world setting helps you understand its
application in practical projects, beyond classroom learning. It allows for
highly accurate and detailed design and drafting, which is essential in fields
like architecture, engineering, and construction. It supports various types of
design, including 2D drafting, 3D modeling, and complex simulations,
applicable across multiple industries. The software provides tools for creating
detailed and realistic visual representations of designs, aiding in better
understanding and communication of concepts.

I recently completed a 30-day internship at CTTC (Central Tool Room &
Training Sector) Bhubaneswar has been set up by Govt. of India in
Collaboration with Govt. of Denmark and Govt. of Orissa as a Govt. of India
Society under Ministry of MSME. A picture of the internship place is presented
below.
About the Internship Service Provider: Central Tool Room & Training Centre
(CTTC) Bhubaneswar is a renowned institute in India, offering specialized
training and internships in various technical fields. Established with the
support of the Government of India, it provides hands-on training and
industry-relevant skills to students and professionals.
Course Focus: The Mechanical AutoCAD course at CTTC, Bhubaneswar,
teaches students how to create mechanical designs using AutoCAD software.
The course emphasizes 2D drafting, where students learn to create accurate
mechanical drawings. It also covers 3D modeling, helping students visualize
and design mechanical parts in three dimensions. By the end of the course,
students will be skilled in using AutoCAD for mechanical engineering tasks.
Lessons and Skills Covered: As they advance, students learn to work with
layers, blocks, and templates. They also practice more detailed tasks like
hatching and using dynamic input. In the final stage, students learn 3D
modeling, including creating solid models and assemblies. They also work on
practical projects to apply their skills in real-world scenarios.
Training Duration and Schedule: The internship spans over a duration of 03
hours per day, excluding holidays and Sundays. This schedule allows
students to balance their academic commitments while gaining valuable
practical experience. The course ensure that participants can learn and apply
new concepts gradually, making the most of the time spent at the center
