    Annual report (2023-24)

    Summary-
    1. Business venture was organized on 27-7-2023. Business stalls were established by
    M.Com I & II year students. 67 students of M.Com department participated and around
    200 customers visited to stalls.

    2. Orientation on incubation for entrepreneurship was organized on 29-12-2023. Resource


    person was Dr. Priya A Hoskeri, faculty coordinator IADC. She explained complete life
    cycle of budding entrepreneurs. She also highlighted opportunities for early startups and
    entrepreneurs.

    3. Orientation on business model canvas was organized on 1st March 2024 for M.Com I
    semester students. Prof. Dr. Savita Trivedi explained about various factors to be
    considered before starting a business. Nine building blocks in the business model canvas
    were discussed in detail. Students were motivated to have a brainstorm and prepare a
    model canvas. Various queries were satisfied and total seven groups were created for
    preparing business model.

    4. Competition on presentation of business plan was organised on 22-3-2024 for M.Com I


    Year students. Seven teams of students presented business plan. Rules of this competition
    were well explained by coordinator Prof. Dr. Savita Trivedi. Judges were Prof. Col.
    Prasannakumar and Dr. Monica Ranka.

    5. The Students from Department of B.Com & BBA, Dayananda Sagar College of
    Arts, Science & Commerce, had organized “ IMPRINTING (LOGO MAKING) on
    10 TH July 2023 under “UDYAMITA” the ENTREPRENEURSHIP CELL. This
    curriculum was designed to help students focus on entrepreneurship aspects
    and to know how well they could connect with current trends, while also having
    fun.
    6. From the Department of B.Com & BBA, Dayananda Sagar College of Arts,Science
    & Commerce, students has organized “Product Launch” on Thursday 06/07/2023,
    under “UDYAMITA” the ENTREPRENEURSHIP CELL. This curriculum was designed
    to help students focus on entrepreneurship aspects while also having fun.
    7. The Students from Department of B.Com & BBA, Dayananda Sagar College of
    Arts, Science & Commerce, had organized “BUSINESS PLAN”; on 20th April 2023
    that is on Wednesday, under “UDYAMITA” the ENTREPRENEURSHIP CELL. This
    curriculum was designed to help students focus on entrepreneurship aspects and to know
    how well they could connect with current trends, while also having fun.
    8. The Students from Department of B.Com & BBA, Dayananda Sagar College of
    Arts, Science & Commerce, had organized “Best Entrepreneur” on 14th December
    2023 that is on Thursday, under “UDYAMITA”the ENTREPRENEURSHIP CELL. This
    curriculum was designed to help students focus on entrepreneurship aspects and to know
    how well they could connect with current trends, while also having fun.

    9. The Students from Department of B.Com & BBA, Dayananda Sagar College of
    Arts, Science & Commerce, had organized “E-MELA” on Friday 10/03/2024, under
    “UDYAMITA” the ENTREPRENEURSHIP CELL. This curriculum was designed to
    help students focus on entrepreneurship aspects while also having fun.

    10. The Students from Department of B.Com & BBA, Dayananda Sagar College of
    Arts, Science & Commerce, had organized “BUSINESS PLAN” on 3 rd May 2023
    that is on Wednesday, under “UDYAMITA” the ENTREPRENEURSHIP CELL. This
    curriculum was designed to help students focus on entrepreneurship aspects and to know
    how well they could connect with current trends, while also having fun.
