a multifaceted city. Although the province is mostly known for their servings of delicious Kapampangan food,
it has a certain depth to it that goes beyond gustatory sensations..…..Unfortunately, while lauded for its great
food and excellent epicurean delights, most people—especially travelers from abroad—would rarely associate
it with anything else other than a place that caters mainly to our gustatory impulses. However, while Pampanga
is that one and definitive province for indulging our food cravings….Filipino and foreign travelers should not
overlook the other aspects of the area that would make it an enticing haven to spend the holidays.

5. Once upon a time, they say that Mt. Arayat abounded in all kinds of fruit trees. Aside from the fruit trees, it is
said that animals of all kinds once roamed this mountain. The strange thing about this fruit trees and animals

Sinukuan…. At last, fed up with the people’s greediness, Mariang Sinukuan stopped leaving food at their
doorsteps. She caused the fruit trees and animals in the mountain to disappear…..

8. All of us have received advice to “take a good rest” at least once in our lives. Probably, this is also one of the
most neglected pieces of advice a person may give to another. With the ever-increasing pace of life, especially
 in big cities, sufficient rest–and sleep, in particular–is gradually becoming more of a luxury than a basic need
that should be addressed and satisfied…Perhaps, this is just not enough to make people pay attention to the
problem. Supposedly, it would be more convincing to learn about the negative effects of sleep deprivation,
poor quality sleep, or just constantly ignoring one’s need for restoration and rest.

9. There should be enough space around the refrigerator for better ventilation and the electricity saving. At least
a 10 cm clearance should be kept between the upper, the backside, the left and the right side of the refrigerator
with walls or anything. The contact may produce some electric sparks when the refrigerator is started; thus
hazard is likely to occur if there is gas around the refrigerator. Please shut down the gas and open all windows
and doors in case of gas leakage to ensure safety.

10. Traveling is one of the favorite hobbies almost all people have. There are several ways for traveling around
the world, and they all include some good things and some bad things. Backpacking and staying in hotels are
two of the most common ways of traveling, that’s why they are used by most people. The major differences
that could be discussed between these two ways of traveling are the costs, the safety of the staying, and the
availability of plans… As the travelers will need to sleep in a hostel, there will always be the issue of insecurity,
as any kind of people could enter and sleep in a hostel… In contrast, hotels are one of the most comfortable
ways of traveling, but only if you have enough money… By staying at a hotel people will spend more money
than they would spend in a hostel; of course a hotel will provide a high level of security to the traveler. However,
to stay at most hotels, you need reservations, and once you have them you can rely on a place to sleep every
night…

11. Even in the days before my teacher came, I used to feel along the square stiff boxwood hedges, and, guided
